Lindelof of the current first teamers. Greenwood probably overall based on hype alone.

Think Lindelof could be the last man standing from the current squad 5-7 years down the line.
Agree, I can see why losing Rashford if we want to keep would be a disaster to the, urgh, brand/franchise.

But it is only Lindelof that I feel positive can be a starter for the next half decade, maybe Shaw as well. Rest don't look United quality to me or don't want to be here.

When Pogba is the only outfield player any top 5 club in the world would be paying 100m+ for it's not a difficult question. RashBonglahor will end up at Newcastle.

Degea, Pogba, Greenwood, Gomes, Rashford, Martial.

The rest are pretty mediocre.

I'd cash in on Rashford - he's bang average. If he didn't come from the academy the pitch forks would be truly out.

Last player I'd want to lose is probably Lindelof. He can be very dependable with the right partner.

Pogba for me, really think his best years are ahead of him and he is such a special player when he plays, shame it's not consistent

In terms of quality I say Pogba no doubt. We need players at that level if we want to reach the top.

Mctominay is young and play with great passion. Would keep him 100% and can't see any reason to let him go.

It is sad to see Herrera go too since I wanted to keep him no doubt.

De Gea. He’s had a poor season but he’s still a class goalkeeper who’s saved our arses countless times this past years.
Right now I would trade De gea for any other keeper in the top 6. Leno maybe not, but he has been much better than De Gea this season.

Rashford. Great numbers for his age, shown no signs of being injury prone, and both club and national homegrown. Will be a disaster if he doesn’t commit to a new contract soon.

Pogba would second. World class, and again both club and national homegrown.
Probably agree.

The homegrown big hope and the world class player we will not get better than.

That’s short term thinking. Every player goes through bad form. He’s given us top class performances over the past 5 or 6 years, it’s normal to have a dip for a season. Fans have to be patient and we have other more pressing areas to fix.

Players I’d keep so any of these:

Pogba
De Gea
Rashford
Shaw
Lindelof
Dalot
Mctominay
Martial
Smalling

I know some of these aren’t top top level but we’re not going to get rid of everyone and replace like for like.. so these are the players I’d keep and buy some up and coming talent along with one or two world class established players. And work on work rate and fitness levels.

Talent wise of course but in this current state I’d take the money and rebuild.
If there was a guarantee of bringing three excellent performers in maybe.

But you could quite easily see us bungling the signings

Shaw or Lindelof. Both have improved in shit conditions. De Gea is our best player but I think he wants out, that's what I put his form down to anyway. Pogba is a shithouse, plays well when he's happy then goes in 15 game rubbish spells? That's not world class to me. He's a mercenary that will jump to the next highest payer. Rashford is decent but he can't turn a game on its head himself like a proper striker would. Ruud would garuntee almost a goal a game whereas Rashford can have very long baron spells if things aren't going his way. Martial should be word class but I sense he doesn't have the personal drive to improve. Then like the previous 2 he'll go shit for months. The rest of the team is dross so they can all leave.

In the past it would have been Rashford but my expectations of him have dropped recently.

I don't have a preference for any player in the squad right now, where as I used to always have a few favourites. I would want us to keep Shaw, Lindelof and Mctominay because they have improved this season and have the potential to keep improving. Also De Gea despite his form, although the constant rumours are getting beyond tedious I do hope he signs a new contract and regains his form.

I think it would be wise to keep Pogba for one more season, although he is inconsistent, building a team that is less reliant on him will be the best for both parties and I think we would struggle to replace his quality right now.

That's a tough one. On talent alone, it'd be Pogba followed by DDG. But I also feel these two may have their hearts elsewhere and could bring in the kind of funds that could kickstart a proper rebuild. I'm not sold on Rashford and would bite off Barca's hand if the 100 million transfer rumour were true (I really have a hard time believing it.) Martial can go feck himself for all I care. Same for Lukaku (although I like the man; just not the player.) The likes of Sanchez, Lingard, Matic, Darmian, Young and Rojo can't leave soon enough. I'm absolutely indifferent on Jones and Smalling (not as bad as some say, but still not great.) McTominay and Shaw have improved this year, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if they were to somehow leave. Bailly...whatever; Pereira...whatever; Fred....maybe deserves more time but don't really care if he leaves...so that leaves Lindelof.

I didn't include Mata as my man-crush is so great that I can't be objective. It's heartbreaking to think of him losing his bestie Herrera :(

Rashford, though even him im not 100% sold on, the years of stagnation under Mourinho means the likly hood is he will never be the player he had the potential to be.

Rashford. He’s been shit but he has the tools to be world class.

Looks more likely to hit a Walcott like level though

None of our players except for De Gea if his drop in form isn't because another club has turned his head.

I just can't see what so many of you see in Rashford other than being a local.

For me, probably Lindelof. There's so much work to be done across all our defensive options that it feels absolutely essential that he remain the consistent factor.

Rashford, I just don't know. Like others, I really hope he's the real deal and can find that next level when the team has settled down a bit, but there's a niggling doubt that we've seen all he's got already.

The way things are going, if Pogba leaves on top of Herrera leaving and we sign players of the ilk of Daniel James, Leicester city will probably have a better team on paper! Selling Pogba and De Gea should be the last thing we do!
Like it or not, Pogba is by far our best player

Rashford, just because is a manchester lad. If it was in terms of footballing skills, he won't be near the TOP 3.

As it is, there's no player i wouldn't let go from the current team.

Rashford. He’s clearly not without his flaws but he’s also, potentially, a world class striker. I’m not sure people realise how few of those there are, much less how hard it is for a top club to bring them through. You only have to look at the top clubs to see how many of them have a striker who was developed from within.

De Gea, easily. He’s had a crap go of it for the last month but he’s easily been one of the top three keepers on the planet over the last five years and for long stretches clearly the best. He’s not getting old any time soon.

Keep De Gea, but every other player can be upgraded on. Even Rashford.

I think Ederson and Allison are young and should improve. Kepa is the future as well. LLoris has been a top keeper like De Gea too and won big things recently.
Leno is probably not at De Geas level though, but he might have less wages and could be more driven to do well in the future.

I think we should keep De Gea and hope he turns it around next season. Although I think it is natural to have doubts given how bad he has been since the world cup.

De Gea possibly. Saved us a lot of points in bad times and if the transfer window doesn't go well we could be in for a tougher season. His shot stopping is great but other parts of his game aren't so good. I feel he could be leaving though, maybe to PSG.

Rashford, not consistent but has great speed on the counter and feel there is much more to come.

Lindelof, shown good character to establish himself, seems very alert and good at organizing.

I would include Pogba, he's the most talented in a creative sense. We don't seem anywhere near ready for this type of player and he doesn't appear to want to wait any longer and I don't blame him.

De Gea. One mediocre season doesn’t change the absolute monster of a player that he is.

He’s going through a purple patch but his true class will shine through again, I’m certain of that.

Literally everyone else can feck off.

Personally, the last one I would have let go is the first one out the door, Anders Herrera. After watching this season's games, I think any of the others is replaceable. While I see talent in some and potential in a few, for me every player has to be totally committed to the club. That means talk of fancying a move to Madrid or a spell in the Italian leagues is tantamount to a transfer request. If a player feels like that, then they can get out. That includes Dave, Pogba or Lukaku. I felt that way about Ronaldo, and I'd have have felt that way about Cantona if he had ever uttered such tripe...but the didn't. Ever. That's what I want in all our players. Feel it, live it, or leave. Herrera got it.
