End of a cycle. Pochettino doesn’t want to be there and the players aren’t playing for him. Same thing happened to Klopp before he went to Liverpool.
He has got to actually get fired/resign first though. No way we are paying a fee for him at this rate.

I don't even think this is realistic, although at this stage I don't know what to think!

OGS was one that I thought was really going to work out. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought we could go from the first 3 months to what we are now.

We'll be in a relegation battle. I don't know where we go from here but Ole cannot turn things around.

\i'm also afraid for the young lads as I doubt they'll get any proper coaching to improve. It just won't work.
People are overstating his positive impact on our youth players immensely.

Bringing on Greenwood week after week in the 60/70th minute to rescue games isn’t a positive.

Bringing Chong on with less than 10 minutes to go to save the game when he’s not ready for 1st team football at this level yet isn’t either.

He spouts one empty platitude after the other. He’s here to bring through youth players but persists with starting Mata over them all; then when they do get game time he’ll shoehorn Greenwood into a wing position.

He’s taking the fans for idiots with every claim.

The horrible thing is that result and performance wasn't that surprising. We are just a terrible team at the moment that is no better than lower midtable.

You know its bad when you see steve bruces newcastle away and know its gonna be an L.. we are worst than the championship relegation fodder. Theres ligue 1 teams that would beat us easily.. We are a terrible club and team. There is no hope under ole.. he needs to go before the day is done. Rashford is not a striker.. hes terrible up front. He has no positional awareness and doesnt kniw how to make any runs.. hes an okay winger because hes quick.

Ole should resign, but at at the same time, he should put out a statement saying what the owners have done to the club is a disgrace.
He won't do neither.
Ole is very grateful for the opportunity that has been given to him and he'll protect the board as much as possible.
He'll keep quiet and say that everything is positive and heading in the right direction.

Jose did call out Woodward and the board and he got fired!

It is just the young players are not good enough yet.We rely too much on Pogba Martial and rashford. Two of them injured.
I honestly believe the midfield is a main problem area and Rashford need space to operate.

Seriously, Ole. I don't know what are you trying to do. I wouldn't play the squad like this. Nothing in the middle, always side way passing. It was God awful to watch. It is very simple actually. Put Greenwood in the middle and Rushford on the left. Let James play on the right, put Pereira in the middle. Don't bother playing Fred and Tom, move Lindelof to DM.
Amazing how the fans can see this but he still persists with Rashford upfront and not enough support in attack.

Why do some still devoid Ole of any blame for our situation, look at the team today.

Ole brought Maguire and James.

he shipped out smalling and pushed axel further up as a starter in the team.

He wasted 40 million on Bissaka when we could have brought trippier and tierney for the same combined fee instead.

mctominay is one of his favourites.

He shifted fellaini out whilst giving games to Pereira last season and this season.

He dumped lukaku as our main striker in favour of rashford as the number 9.

Wouldnt give Herrera a 200,000 contract but it was ok to give rashford one for more money.

Kept favouring bloody lingard over and over again and would have been in the side had he been fit like always.

Plays a formation that does the team no favours with our best player pogba constantly playing way too deep this season.

Was happy getting rid of lukaku because he believed we had great potential to replace him.

Pereira is supposed to be a set piece specialist as well if you can believe it.

Yeah, I think his time is probably up, but I hope that whoever next comes in clears out the deadwood. The experienced players should be stepping up, but they play like cowards.

Jose should have been backed not sacked. We are a rotten football club the way we are being run. Reactive and commercial. Heads need to role at management and board level

Patience we need transfer windows. I am sorry these players are good enough to beat the bottom 10 in the PL easy.

Newcastle goal was really beautiful I have to say. I need to see that build up with the assist again, Daniel James got sent back to Swansea.

Turned MUTV on. There are no phone numbers etc, so looks like no phone-in again. Looks like Jonny Evans is going to be a dad again. Helen looking sad but blooming.
Day by day we're looking more and more like Northern Korea. We even play like their fecking NT.

Very disappointing, to put it mildly. No plan, no strategy, not a single player worth mentioning. Ole is losing ground fast. This is not my Man Utd.

Ed Woodward being a cnut and undermining Mourinho in the summer setting off a chain of events that led us to this point.
Mourinho responsible for most of his undoing. Not because Ole is not doing well, doesn't mean Jose didn't have to go.

Never been physically embarrassed by a game of football till today. When ABU commentators are pitying the club you realise rock bottom has a basement

United are an embarrassment of football club. Broken in a million pieces from the top to the bottom. Some might think United won't get relegation but look at the form since March. Its already relegation form.

Worse part of about today's game was such an average Newcastle team didn't even have to play well to win.

3 shots on goal is encouraging, considering its infinitely more than 0, that's some % increase. Do that again and we'll be set.

Shaw, Martial and Pobga are 3 of the most over rated and inconsistent players in the league.
But neither of them has anything to do with the shit we have just witnessed. It’s the coach, the “system”

Can anyone actually see how Ole is going to get his patchwork team to work?
It’s terrible watching players completely bereft of confidence and apparently no idea how to attack another team.
