Who paid 50 million for him?
Same guy that won us two trophies and respectable second place finish.

If you judge managers by their purchasing mistakes SAF is right up there dude.

Can't wait for Ole to whip out more of these academy players who are not ready to show us the way forward. Completely out of his depth. Abysmal manager

We can make a similar list of failed signings for SAF who didn't exactly leave us in the best of positions either All seasoned managers will have such a list. But the fact that Pogba is on José list for you as a failure means you're not being serious.

Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to Sky Sports: "We're disappointed. We did lack quite a few key players but that's no excuse. The players worked hard and ran their socks off but at the moment we're in a place we're not used to. Some of the boys lack a little bit of composure and we don't create enough chances to win a game of football.

"They stay together as a team but we don't create.

"Luckily for us it's now the international break. We get time to evaluate what's gone on over these eight games. We will sit down, hopefully we'll get a few players back. It's my responsibility. I need to sort their heads out. Young boys lacking confidence - they need some help from experienced players and staff.

"They're human and they want to do well. They need to see the results of their hard work and we're not getting those results so that's going to affect them.

"The first half was the sloppiest we've been. In the second half we dominated but we didn't create.

"We've not changed a lot. We've played the same way and stuck to our principles. The players are working hard. We've had six out from the Chelsea game and that's going to affect results. But we'll work hatd and get the quality back."
I would love to ask him what they are

Ole's even forgotten how to shave... he's noticed we don't create enough chances: that's been going on since february

Can't deny that Ole is not good enough to manage a premier league team, but can't really blame for not turning down the chance of a lifetime that those running Utd gave him. Ole should resign with dignity now.

After that the people running the club should follow his example. Either he goes or he is given the backing he deserves and accept a bad season with a view to rebuilding for next season.

More from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to Sky Sports: "It will take however long it will have to take. It's a journey we've started on and the culture is getting there. I can't give you any time but we're getting there. We've given ourselves a big, big uphill challenge to get among the top four but it's tight and we need to get a run together.

"We've come together and discussed the direction we're going. If you only work on sunny days you'll never get to your destination. We'll have these days but we know where we want to get to."

Radio 5 just had an eloquent Canadian woman on to talk about how the club are prioritising the brand over the football.

Next guy on wants to replace Ole with Neil Lennon and Keane
Frankly at this rate i’d take Lennon. At least he has more tactical IQ than a fecking twig

"the players are working hard" Ole has said that at least 5 times in his post-match, is that all he can come up with?

You look at the eleven we put out today - we are not better than Newcastle.

I lay hardly any of the blame for that at Ole. But that squad is seriously horrendous and it’s gonna need a lot of spending to improve.
Honestly find it hard to fathom that you actually believe that. But you certainly can't be accused of not sticking to your guns!

This is quite a telling interview I think he can tell he's on borrowed time and is half admitting he's out of his depth

It makes me so sad seeing Ole just grabbing for excuses, showing he has no real idea of coaching. keeps saying what we "shouldn't do". but we keep on doing it

So focus is on young boys and them lacking confidence and help will come from experienced players, are you fecking kidding, help from them, is he even watching experienced players out there, they are clearly full of confidence unlike young boys, because they are easy target and unwarranted on top of it.

I thought it was a good job by the interviewer, with a couple of probing questions, which Ole had no choice but to dodge. Refreshingly honest from de Gea as well. To paraphrase: "We're rubbish".

Fred, Sanchez, Lukakau, Pogba,Dalot, Bailly, Miki......each and every one of them a failure. Jose spent all the money left in the club, he left us without a pot to piss in.

i mean besides the first 10 minutes or so when greenwood came on we looked horrendous. And even then we didn't dominate during that period. Would love to know wtf he is talking about with dominating????

Given we might get relegated yeah I care more about result right now. Anyway what we'll get Wenger to play nicely and then in summer another one who likes a nice play?
Wenger also has a good track record of getting results as well. That is the plan, I want. Wenger build a foundation of attractive football and have our next manager in Pochettino continue upon that.

Maybe that's the answer, no shaving until we win an away game. It'll be Gandalf beards all-round, even the bloody kids.

Poor in every way - squad, setup, play, subs, tactics, leadership, management, coaching and desire.
No options and no depth - stuck.
We’ve technically run out of time - two big defeats in a row for this young squad will prove a disaster.

fecking awful.
Rashford is absolutely trash, same with Fred.

Ole doesnt know what he is doing,i see no plan what so ever,we have not improved one bit at anything really.
He needs to go and it should happen now with the break coming up.
We cant continue with him,we are heading for relegation battle, playing awful football with no plan and barely score any goals at all.
Love Ole but change must happen and the quicker the better imo.

Also,feck Woodward!
He should get the sack just for letting Manchester United football club go into a new season with the paper thin squad we have now, what the feck was he thinking
I know he wont be sacked but this cnut must get his share of the blame as well.

As a caretaker. Wenger knows how to make his team plays attractive football. Not much else available who can do that. Unless, you are more interested in result than performance. If you are, then Allegri will be your option.
I'd take anyone really , oles gone sorry, it has to change, and if I was ole I'd do a Keegan and just pack it in, he knows himself jobs to big for him.

True, but we have absolutely no-one to replace them
True, but the buck stops with the manager. Ryan Fraser scored the second highest amount of assists in the Premier league last season (14) and was in the last year of his contract. We all begged Ole to sign Tielemans on the cheap but he wasn't interested.

Ole had a daunting rebuild. But he put all his faith in Mata and Pereira becoming Pirlo and Iniesta, without realising that going into a season without a single player maker who is consistent in recent seasons, with creating chances, is football suicide. Managers live and die by their calls.

two or three weeks ago my comments would have garnered huge abuse... getting nothing but backing from the caf. in a way, that's very very sad
