Why was he? He’s done well for England in the games he has played.
Amazing how one game undoes 2 seasons of consistency.
Sterling still misses too many sitters to be in the elite group, but he's now almost exceptional when it comes to instinctive finishes when he doesn't have much time to think about what he's going to do. I think I could live with seeing him in a United shirt, and, with his missing easy chances flaw - he'd fit right in here are United.
