Even 45 with Wolves probably edging it in terms of threat and chances. We just need to speed things up a little, too much dwelling on the ball.

Dominated? Not really?? pretty even first half. We cant gain control but have had our moments as have wolves. Could still go either way. Rashford would be a difference with the ball over the top as wolves push up high has created our best chances.

Even enough contest and at least shots on target for United tonight v Wolves. Need to get Martial and Greenwood more into the game. Williams probably Uniteds stand out player in that half.

What's the point of us signing Maguire for his passing ability when all he does is those short passes to Lindelof which even Smalling can do?
I believe his quality is running into the midfield. Not such much the passing from the back.

Relatively poor first half. Mata and James have not been impressive, neither were AWB and Martial. Others are having an average game

James should have scored. Some of our balls behind the defense has been good, but we struggle to create apart from that. Poor from most of our teams regarding that part. We are just so slow and do not attack them with enough conviction.

Feels like this will be penalties and that make me feel terrible. Our record have often been crap on penalties and we have already missed a penalty against Wolves this season. Granted that it was Pogba who took it.

James finishing has been horrible , has made some good runs off the ball to get himself good opportunities though. Typical United in that half, good when given space and clueless in possession.

Geez -the criticism of matic :houllier:

Wolves probably just edging it but both teams have been a mix of good and bad.

They beat us once when we were top of the league and they were bottom in February and we still hadn’t lost a game.

Not dominated at all, overall United have had the better chances. Except the Jimenez one.

Wolves have had a couple of big moments but despite not playing well Utd have still had the better of the half overall.

Traore gets a lot of hype but I would take Jimenez ahead of him with barely a thought, a really good CF with the type of rounded game that is so easy to fit in with others.

Harsh but correct to disallow their goal, I don’t like that rule and it’s not consistent across every game.

Fairly even half, both side had chances, dull affair.

I can see Rashford coming on in the last 20min and winning this for us.
Yep, it feels like he could be the difference maker, just as he nearly was in the first leg.

Martial doesn’t seem the same player without Rashford backing him up, just like Rashford excels more when Martial is on the field.

Special mention to Williams who is showing, despite his relative inexperience, that he is far and above more tactically aware offensively than both Shaw and Young. He's moving forward with the ball past his marker and into space, moving into half spaces and dropping inside into channels. It's all very clever tactical work from him. Really impressed.

Bring him on already or at least after 55-60. Could take off anyone in the front 3 to be honest. James has missed chances, but at least got them. Greenwood been very quiet so maybe I would take him off.

Some people acting as if wolves are a cakewalk team. They are a very tough side to beat. Said it at the time of the draw, that was the worst draw to get. Tough team to play against, having said that we have been decent. Nothing special but james should have scored.

If I hear the commentators keep going about Wolves will feel hard done by the handball, am going to lose it. Literally knocked it into the path of Neto with that touch.

Enjoyed that first half, chances for both sides. I like the runs we are making and some of the forward passing. A bit of quality needed now to get that first one.

Aye not great with the ball again, even though I think we're at least trying to move it through the lines. Fred's was a good ball early in the half, but we're not quick enough to exploit the spaces. Quicken it up in the second half and we'll see what Wolves are made of.

I hate Wolves more than Liverpool. Dull games, waste of 90 minutes, stupid results. It’s 2:40 am in Almaty, I’m watching fecking Wolves game.

This half is of a bit better quality than usually against those bastards

I really dislike Lindelof. Might be my least favourite player at the club at this point. (Excluding players who are genuinely a waste of breath considering like Phil Jones)

That was a foul on Maguire even if it wasn’t handball.

But if Greenwood will get a chance he is more likely to score his chance compared to James.
