I don't think he's necessarily the man to take us back where we belong, but this is the Glaziers and Woodwards doing. Letting 1st team players go and not replacing them is criminal. With our injury record it was always going to bite us in the arse. All about penny pinching. Whole clubs a mess.
Yup. The board spent for a few years, it didnt work, and now they decided to fully cut back and its led to this shit show. We're a squad of mostly youth graduates from the past few years, and the random player bought to support.

Might be unpopular, but if I was Woodward I would think twice before giving him money to spend, his buys are hardly great.
His buys have been average.

And after 2-3 seasons, they'll likely be seen as bad.

We spent 130 million on defenders, and we still look awful defending. And we're woeful at set-piece defending.

The guy is in charge because he's an ex-player. A club and business with the size and stature of ours appointed a man because he was an ex-player. It boggles the mind.

The poor bastard is out of his depth

Wolves and Chelsea in the league. City in between for the cup. Solskjær is in big trouble, and don't think he will survive unless he pulls out at least one win in those games. And if he slips against Watford/Tranmere, it might even be over before the Chelsea game, as the winter break would be a good time to make some changes. 01.feb and it might be over.

If he cares about the club truly - he will resign now.

And if he doesn't, he's tarnishing his legacy at this point.

And the owners must step up and do their fecking jobs - get him out of the club now.
Yeah I think this is it.

If he chooses to stay now, he is looking out for himself and not the club.

He is not part of any solution. This is awful stuff and doesn’t deserve any sort of time.

It’s time to have some initiative and some standards.

Ole, all the backroom staff, Woodward and whoever advises the board all need to go. Along with the medical department

Shame on you Ole
No goal threat again, tactics non existent again, flogging players into the ground and all due to squad depth.
You played under Fergie when utd always had FOUR recognised strikers at the club not including youth fringe players.
You let Lukaku, Sanchez and Herrera without replacements saying we had cover.
Yes they didn't fit long term but too not replace is a disgraceful decision. You dont let them go until they are replaced.
Late in the transfer window and no sign of new faces again.
You are just a YES man for the Glazers.

I just don't know what to think about this any more. Part of me says Ole needs to go, but then I look at the squad and think what's the point? The players just aren't good enough. There's probably two I'd keep from the starting line up today, Williams and Fred. I really don't know if this would be different if we had the players with Ole still in charge and Woodward has shown himself to be constantly incompetent in the transfer market, so I can't really see us getting the right players in any time soon. I think it'd be at least five or six transfer windows to get anywhere near. Surely Woodward has to realise that if we don't sort the performances out and starting getting back to the top, sponsors and commercial deals will evaporate. At that point, even the Glazers will have to wake up and take a proper look at it.

I think we should have worked much harder to keep David Gill when Fergie left for a couple of years. It was too much change at once.

Yeah but you make it its all he has done. Try to separate Ole the player and Ole the manager.
It's what he's mostly remembered for. He was a decent player. Being a "super-sub" makes up a substantial part of his legend. Growing up no one was saying "I want to be like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer" around my sides. Am I supposed to get here and act like he was a world class player or something?

Decent player that had a wonderful moment for the club. Terrible manager. Seems a fair, non-conflating, assessment of Ole the player and Ole the manager.

Whoa Rio questioning if Ole is good enough.

It’s starting to turn now.

What‘s funny is that he only ever leaves his seat when we’re in trouble, otherwise he just sits there trying to emulate Ferguson. The difference is Ferguson was 70 years old, the master of his trade, feared and respected. Ole is in his 40’s.

Here it is. This is 7 years in the making. Absolutely nothing wrong with tactics tonight, it is all about abilities! If you hang that on Ollie, you are in for another round of shit. I can’t believe (yes I can. FIFA fans..) Singing Glazers out tonight at OT. If we don’t get Fernandes done (and I’m not even sure he is good enough), and sign another striker they can feck off. But you are a bunch of no good cowards if you put this on Ole. Sure enough another agenda bitch fest here the next week. Enjoy!

We've let ability go in previous windows and haven't replaced on his watch. You cant keep coming out with the same spiel that we are moving in the right place after poor performances and losses.

What he say?

Just turned off because couldn’t be arsed listening to the usual he needs time bollocks.
Asked if he thinks Ole is good enough he replied with ‘at this moment you have to be honest and say no’

Something along those lines anyway

"The boys are giving everything they've got. This is the first time they've experienced something like this".

Yeah, first time playing under a totally incompetent manager.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have replaced their coach while being top of the league and we're still contemplating after the year we've had.
