Dreadful goalkeeping. I can't remember a season like it for so many errors from keepers.

Don't think it was that terrible a goal keeping, his position wasn't bad, just totally caught off guard by the pace of the shot.

That was one hell of a shot from that distance to be fair. Keeper didn't think for a second that he needed to make a save there. I seem to remember one of the all time greatest goalkeepers conceding in a similar manner at the WC.

He was gambling that like 999/1000 free kicks in that position it'd be crossed in. Left way too big a gap.
And utterly woeful dive at the end.

Shocking stuff. And amazing from the goalscorer of course.

FFS yo-yo teams literally add nothing to the premier league. Would much rather have Brentford go up and add something new

It was fantastic. He even put his arm in the air to signal the ball going into the box like he was crossing it. Just amazing.
And even looked where he was going to be "crossing it". But had a very quick glimpse at the goal. Superb.

Awful mistake to make in a game of this magnitude

DDG would be proud

I agree. Keeper was a bit silly with his positioning but that goal was more down to the brilliance of the free kick. Nobody is expecting a shot from there.

I did agree, but having seen the way they've performed when the pressure is on, I fear the only "new" they'd have contributed would have been a new record low points haul.

Why i wanted someone like Brentford or Forest up this season over the usual bores like West Brom, Fulham etc.

What does the loser get?
For this game I don't know, the info will be out somewhere but the winner from 2013 for example between Watford V Palace, the winner (Palace) received 117.7m and the loser (Watford) recieved only 2.3m so massive difference. I expect the loser payments will have gone up a lot since then but still way off the winners payments.

I hope Fulham and West Brom go straight down along with West Ham.

I long for the day when a GK drops the ball when he needlessly goes down on the ground with the ball just to waste time. and it falls to an opponent who scores-

Don't think it was all that great from the taker. Think the gap was really obviously there.
Disagree, I think it was an excellent bit of opportunistic technique from Bryan and a goal deserving of deciding a play-off final. The goalkeeping wasn't great but it wasn't the career-ending blunder some are making it out to be.

Feel for Brentford but based on this display they don't deserve to be promoted. Might learn them a lesson to stick to what works for you even in finals.

Acctually think Raya been impressive everytime I've seen him. Some mistake to make in the last game of the season though.

This Sady guy for supposedly being the star player for Brentford has been absolutely wank. Misplaced crosses, not controlling the ball well, can't remember him doing anything useful.

Agreed, his position was fine... Just one hell of a strike
If you concede from 40 yards out, no matter how good the strike was, his position was anything but "fine". Should cover (or at least be able to cover) all angles from where you're positioned in such a situation.

Super strike to be fair.

But really Atkinson has massively helped Fulham. They could have had 3 red cards.

Gotta feel for the goalkeeper. You always expect the taker to aim for the penalty spot there. Not even sure if Bryan meant that?
Surely not, that would be totally wasting a chance, Im convinced he miskicked that one and got lucky because the keeper feck up big timed.

Come on Brentford please score. I have watched this boring game since the 35th minute so I would like a penalty shoot out to make up for it.

Does someone have a video of the goal?
