Incorrectly predicted the de Jong transfer 2022
BVB is a superior side to MUFC.
Would be a downgrade for Sancho to move to Manchester.

Panic buying bale and having him spend most of the season in the injury room is exactly what we'd need.If that happens and the club does panic, I have no doubt it'd be Bale that we'd panic buy and hope for the best with rather than Sancho

Im one of the few who believes this will get done in the end. The reason being, I believe Utd know they can stump up what Dortmund want. But they are chancing it to get it cheaper knowing the last resort will get him.The owners are playing with fire here i think. If we pull out of this, the backlash will be quite ugly. Dangling one of the best wingers in the game before us only to pull out of the deal for money reasons. Meanwhile we've known for ages what Dortmund want. But what i think may be true is that they are playing chicken, knowing that if they have to, they will just stump up the money at the end (forget all of the posturing media info). But let's say they're doing that, then they'll have saved a couple million or more even if they do stump it up due to the unpaid wages and interest income. That makes boards of companies happy. I can only imagine that if they are doing that they've plenty of reassurance that last minute bids will still be considered. Let's see what happens.

Exactly, we'd essentially be banking on him staying healthy somehow and having his drive/fire reignited by being back home and nothing over the last 2-3 seasons has shown that that kind of drive is even in him anymore at 31. I was hoping we'd sign him years ago but not since last year since he's become a non-factor, injury prone and a pariah in Madrid. Mourinho with Spurs would've been all over him if he wasn't so radioactive at the moment, speaks volumes that the only genuine interest in him this last year has been from ChinaPanic buying bale and having him spend most of the season in the injury room is exactly what we'd need.
I'd have took him in a heartbeat a few years ago, but now, not so much...
Yeah, that is a difference. Fighting for 4th spot trophy should not be our goal, isn't it? And Bruno, Martial and Rashford can't play 60 games in seasonBy no means is our squad complete or adequate for where we need to be. But the discussion was in relation to us getting top 4 which I think we’ll do comfortably with our squad. You should see Arsenal and Spurs’ squad to realise they won’t be a threat. Arteta is doing a good job so far with some really average players. That can’t last a whole season.
+4
But we stay on all their minds, they can’t stay away from our forum
You did call it early. I was certainly leaning the same way but not 100% sure. Were you being completely serious or just ever so slightly winding people up?Deserve all you get for believing any of these idiots are ITKs.

There is not a single source who has said we can’t pay it. But suddenly every reputable one has said it?Is it because of just about every reputable source saying we can't pay it and have no interest to?
The problem is, the league is becoming a lot more competitive now, it's not just the usual top 4 clubs, there is easily top 6 or 8 i'd say.By no means is our squad complete or adequate for where we need to be. Bale also hasn’t trained at elite match level for ages, and his mental fitness will be even worse.Exactly, we'd essentially be banking on him staying healthy somehow and having his drive/fire reignited by being back home and nothing over the last 2-3 seasons has shown that that kind of drive is even in him anymore at 30. Would rather roll the dice on loaning a Perisic or someone similar if we really can't get Sancho in.
Chatting shit no doubt.I was on this forum while you were still in diapers.
Yeah, I would forum ban you for this kind of shit...

I agree with everything you've put thereBale also hasn’t trained at elite match level for ages, and his mental fitness will be even worse.
Even if he was fully motivated, and managed to avoid injuries, I think it would take him quite a while to get back up to speed to compete at top level of Premier League.
And I’m also fearful that if the going gets tough, he has no emotional skin in the game, he will just down tools and phone it in.
Im not sure how OGS can determine if Bale is professional enough to genuinely give it his all. It’s a massive risk and would cost a lot of money if the gamble fails.
Watch from 0.38. That's United's mouthpiece. There were some other reports from the typical British journos about us not being willing to pay their price but I cba looking for them right now, gotta get ready for work.

Can't even remember the last time we signed a proper RWwhat an absolute mess, 2 seasons in a row now where we are likely going into yet another season handicapped down the right hand side of our attack because of this dead end looking tunnel vision persuit of sancho for our right wing and the scary thing is we will probably waste another summer next year going down this hopeless route yet again.

You said we "can't pay the price". That's different to not willing to pay the price. Just like we weren't willing to pay £80m for Maguire and £50m for AWB.

Not willing to pay is different from can't afford to pay.
Basically we CAN afford it, but we don't want to pay it all in one go, which is understandable really. We want to pay it in bits, with addons that give us more flexibility, but Dortmund want it all in one, or in guaranteed installments from all accounts.
BVB is a feeder club that relies on Bayern to stay afloat. Pathetic clubBVB is a superior side to MUFC.
Would be a downgrade for Sancho to move to Manchester.
These journos just don't seem to be in the know as much as they make out to be. He claims at the start he didn't see a situation that utd will write a 100 million cheque for a player, yet ends with the deal isn't dead. You have to wonder how much is really just guess work and actual info. But none the less I'll follow Fabrizio
Pretty much,as much I've rated him quite highly for years and always felt his contributions to Reals European dominance is extremely underrated, it'd be a terribly shortsighted move for United in 2020 with more potential of having it backfire spectacularly than being a success I'm afraidBale also hasn’t trained at elite match level for ages, and his mental fitness will be even worse.
