Whats this fecking obsession with fecking "actual bids", you hold talks with the other club and try to reach an agreement and if an agreement is reach we submit that as an offer, do people still fecking think that we're faxing in bids and twiddling our fingers hoping they'll accept this one
We’ve been fecking about with this for nearly 2 years now how much more “talks” are needed? Dortmund have clearly stated what they want and they won’t budge so why are we still sitting with our thumbs up are arse watching the days go by until the window shuts. Either pay the feck up or move on if we can’t afford it why have we wasted all this time on it? Starting yet another season with an 18yr old Greenwood who as good as he is will have inconsistencies and can’t play every game and Dan James at RW who quite frankly is simply not good enough.

Mufc are showing only pride in not accepting that the price is £108m. Pride comes before a fall and we will fall even harder in the future if the Glazers'pride keeps interfering with players valuations. Any team knew Sancho was priced at £108m not just us, they didn't want to pay that so they pulled out of showing any interest, we kept on. We want?, then we pay!

Everything about the club had been amateurish post Sir Alex. One of the best young talents in the game who’s happy to come here. His club willing to sell and have named their price and we can’t get the job done. Covid has seemingly only affected Uniteds’ finances and preparation for the season.
Jesus fecking christ, this one transfer pretty much dwarfs all but Chelsea's spending for the season.... one signing. Liverpool could barely afford Thiago and Jota.

Exactly what he has done and come to the correct conclusion our squad is nowhere near good enough. Board need to pull their fingers out their arses now surely.
He also needs to take responsibility for his tactics

He is what we need for unlocking those tight defences when teams park the bus (which they do a lot against us) .. we Would score a fair few more goals in a season with him in the team. Doesn’t take away from the shambles which is our defence though. Defence is where investment needs to happen the most.

Demarai Gray anyone? He's out of contract end of the season so probs available for £10m. Sign Sancho next season and then James can be Rashfords backup on the left wing as we now would have two right wingers?
Demarai Gray.....

Are we losing our minds, he's never been able to hold down a spot at Leicester, whilst he shown potential he's about as average as they come.

They got it over the line though. The asking price for Sancho has been set since how how long now? If we can’t afford it, MOVE ON. We don’t seem to have any other targets in case this deal doesn’t happen, probably end up with an under par panic buy.

Pretty certain we aren't getting Jadon at this point. What I can't understand is why during a transfer window the fans have suddenly decided to echo how bad the owners are. Since Ole has been in charge the Glazers have been a disgrace, we were left hung to dry regarding Bruno signing him as a result of dire results in January. Maguire at one point for 60 million was deemed too expensive only for us to pay more 12 or so months later. Even if we signed Sancho, he would have been given next to no time to be embedded into the squad.

Solskjaer certainly shouldn't be acting with any professionalism or dignity regarding the support of his superiors, he's an average manager who will need signings to succeed. We certainly aren't being coached to the extent that we can cover the squads insufficiency in the level of our performances.

It's an absolute embarrassment to be a fan of this club given the lack of ambition from those who are in charge.

We dont know how the club are funding the deal and could be assessing the financial markets to determine the viability of the deal or finding other sources of finance in order to push it through. This is generally what holds up most deals in finance or property. Its one thing to agree to a fee but the money source needs to be secured prior to spending such a huge sum of money.

Sarr being left out of the squad means he may be close to a move. Liverpool is the club mostly being mentioned but now they signed Jota, I cannot see them spending big again.
Could it be he s moving to us?
I'm sure this would have been discussed whilst loaning them Garner.

He has but they've signed Jota so it'll be interesting to see if they still pursue a move for Sarr..
Yes I just remembered about Jota.

Surprised there hasn't been any reports about him being left out of the squad yesterday

Despite all the narratives and people looking deeper into things than necessary, Dortmund's August 10th deadline was infact genuine then. No chance they sell now

Think Utd will go for a Douglas Costa or similar on a loan deal for now.

I haven't seen any reports about him being left out of the Watford squad but I did read posts that alluded to that on here which could be untrue.

The first signs of decline were actually already there in the last couple of years of Fergie's reign but the fact that he kept winning the top honours with that squad is simply further testament to his abilities.

August 10th deadline was not definitive. If we offer 108m they'll sell.

The higher ups at United never really wanted to sign Sancho they just went through the motions because the manager and fans want him badly. They just used this saga to create the appearance of a club that was busy in the transfer market whilst actually doing nothing.

In the end they will cite Dortmund's 'unreasonable' demands and the time it took to negotiate with a difficult adversary as the reason why VDB will be our only signing.

Sarr wasn't in the Watford matchday squad yesterday. That is a definite. Dunno if he's got a knock or anything like that.

If anything last night was a reminder how weak we are all over the pitch. Spending it all on Sancho might not be in our best interests. We can get a CB, a DM and a LB or just Sancho. I'd prefer the former.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

To be honest looking at the war that’s brewing in the media I don’t think any of those are options. It appears the owners have decided not to spend.

I could be wrong but that quote has nothing to do with transfers, he is saying that we need to improve our performances and that the last one was unacceptable under all circumstances?

The lack of willingness to pay up may suggest they don’t think fans will be back in the stadiums even before 2021. I know bands are cancelling tours deep into 2021, could they know more than us about how long it will take for fans to be back in seats?

There can be no expectation that we will see supporters (in any significant number) this season. Clearly we all hope we can, but at this stage it’s only hope.

I don’t think they know more than us, they know the same, which is nothing.

When we gradually move indoors as the temperature falls, the infection rates will surely increase again. Even completing the season - without spectators - might become a challenge again.

It’s always been the same under their ownership. Even under Fergies last few seasons we had the old ‘no value in the market’ crap most summers. They have spent money but it’s no coincidence that they only do this when we miss out on champions league football.

This summer echoes the summer under Mourinho when we’d finished 2nd. A chance to build on something with 2/3/4 quality signings and yet we have pretty much done naff all. Yet pretty much all our rivals have significantly strengthened. You stand still, you get left behind.

Yeah the players were just lazy, barely seemed like they gave a crap. Hopefully Ole can correct that right away and give them a bollicking

If we're offering say 100mil euro and they are saying no, 120mil, and we simply cant afford that, i just dont understand why that 100mil hasnt went to other positions like CB, LB, DM.

Are they that incompetent or do they have the intention to pay the 120mil if it comes to that in the last week and dortmund havent budged
