Still find it quite ridiculous that they've sent this poor bastard to Germany in the middle of a pandemic just to parrot that nothing is happening
I'd imagine it's nothing major for a company like Sky, they probably send reporters around Europe all the time, it's just to make the transfer window seem more interesting.

He did say that along with saying a deal was agreed in principle with Dortmund. All of which could have been the case or of the understanding of whoever his source at United is but I wouldn't consider his information concrete, and he certainly doesn't seem to think this transfer is a sure thing either.
Harris is not reliable imo

Marco Reus saying he’s staying for another year.

omg this is so bloody on!! So desperate to keep him. :D
I'm not sure if you're joking or not.
Dortmund : " we swear on our mothers grave that Sancho is staying. One million precent. No chance he goes"
Muppets: "this is so on, rent free, desperate to sell".

This has been going on all summer ffs.

All aboard for 2021, though :D

He said "For us , it's good that he stays for one more year ..." . Might have been lost a little in translation, but that's not definitive, more like a desire or request.

Also his board wont tell him the real truth of their intentions, or wont certainly allow him to tell the truth, as this remains their negotiation posture until they accept.

Got to admit, now its so close to D-Day, and having invested so heavily into this, I'm getting abit nervous by the bluff and double bluffs.

Dortmund are not going to embarrass themselves like this. Meanwhile, our management have no qualms about leading us on.

Just thought I'd remind those getting giddy off the Daniel Harris tweet, he literally says in this video he has no idea what is going on. He's a journalist that should be seen in the same way as Duncan Castles, BS merchant or piggy backs off others information.

Bit pedantic but he didn’t actually say they Sancho was staying. Seems it was more of it would be great if he does. This does look like its all or nothing though.

Exactly. Why would any Dortmund player know whether or not he will be sold? That will be up to the decision makers at the club if/when a bid is made.
I thknk Sancho would have come out publicly if it 100% wasn't happening. Either way couldn't give a shit anymore.

That he stays for one more year, or if he stays for one more year?

We all love United
He’s their club captain though, not an ordinary player. Surely he would know a teammate of his is going if it’s happening? I am still clutching at straws that Jadon is coming though

The guy doing the voice over in the video doesnt have a clue what Reus is saying, never spoken a word of German in his life :o

Put this down to a mix up in translation.

There's nothing wrong with what he said. He only shares news when he's given info otherwise he says he doesn't know which he admits. He's called out things in the past where he was ahead of everyone else.

So many posters on here are going to have so much egg on their faces they might as well as omelettes for heads after deadline day when Sancho is still with Dortmund.

I seriously can't believe so many people believe this is going to happen. Grow up, swallow your pride and face it, he isn't joining us this transfer window.

That he stays for one more year, or if he stays for one more year?

Can any of our resident German speakers clarify if this is definitive.

In English "For us, it's good he stays for one more year" is different to "For us, its good he will stay for one more year".

The first statement has a degree of uncertainty, the second statement is definitive.

feck off with the pessimistic bullshit. Nobody is going to have 'egg on their face'. Nobody knows whats going on. We're remaining hopeful.

What does hoping somebody signs have to do with 'growing up' and 'swallowing pride'

Ridiculous post.

Can't wait until we've signed him and Dortmund are still giving it the 'he's going nowhere' schtick.
They'll be seriously mugged off if he leaves now.

Should probably have thought about keeping a good relationship with them seeing as we'll almost certainly be sniffing around the likes of Haland and Bellingham in a couple of years.

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much
British media: "Will there be a Sancho transfer this summer?"
Dortmund: "No."
Redcafe: "Exhilarating 4D chess there."

That he stays for one more year, or if he stays for one more year?
"I'm happy that he's staying at least one more year", is what was said in the video before the English voice comes in. Can't really hear anything after that because of the mixing.

Social media driven farce
It is all absolute farce when Howard fecking Nurse is being cited as the main source of hope in this thread title. It’s not happening.

Go sign Telles and Sarr, and bring Perisic in on loan. That solves a lot of issues with depth and finally brings in players who can offer some width and true wing play, which is completely lacking in our squad.

This has got the to the stage now where not just one person at the club will look silly if Sancho goes but half the squad, the coaching team, 3 quarters of the board and even the dinner ladies.

It can't be worth it for them now to sell even if we pay the full amount. Anyone who'll deal with them in future will know what they say actually means nothing. No matter who says it at the club.

Sadly I don't think this deal is going to happen thanks to the donkeys we have running our club.

But what's he been ahead of everyone else when it's regarding Sancho? He's merely a journalist playing the guessing game like the rest.
