The Pogba thread was 1000 pages of quality stuff, inspired by our own steadfast ITK. Sadly the Sancho thread has never really compared - length isnt everything.
This one has required a very different energy to enjoy.
It's literally been running on fumes for weeks, and yet there were just enough muppets who originally thought it would go to the final week, so kept it going.
And we've had the Bundesliga Reputation Protection Alliance regularly popping in to assert their moral authority and mock our faith.
But the enjoyment has been to be resolute and believe.

That player is said to have had a poor performance in goal in the last game and was likely dropped and some suggest he's being lumped with Sancho for obvious reasons.
Telles, VDB, Sancho, Jovic: Good enough for OGS to dramatically enhance his desired pressing strategy?

The market for transfers is absolutely minuscule to the bookies. I saw an article on it a little while back. Even the most popular transfer sagas often end up with sub 6 figures total laid on it. They regularly refuse large bets because unlike sport it’s not a game of chance and insider money can cost them. So when you see large fluctuations it’s not because they know anything, it often just means that one big bet was attempted (which might only be as little as a few hundred quid to a grand) or they picked up a pattern which might be completely coincidental.

You’ll have as much luck trying to read something out of tea leaves as you will reading the bookies odds.
Thanks, I didn't know that, but it makes sense. On the surface, thr transfer betting market is one that acts irrationally, and now I know why. I will ignore it from now on.

Would love to buy SanchON just to mock the BRPA. Even if we don’t close SanchOFF this year, Dortmund are still a selling club and have been trying to sell him all summer.

A brilliant interview covering many issues including Mitten's inside view on the whole Sancho process.

Not sure about Telles because I haven't seen him play much but the rest will do well in that regard. But our issue is the current starting CBs and Matic who aren't suited to helping enforce the press which would leave our forwards jaded and chasing shadows against teams who transition play quickly IMO.

It would be best to play without pressing high for now until a DM and CB with the correct attributes are bought. But Ole still has options in the squad to try it if he wants to.

Fred and Bailly? Cant it work with them?

Else that will have to wait til next summer.

I'm not the craziest over Sancho but Dortmund would be stupid to reject a 91 million pound bid if that was actually true.

That seems like a balanced transfer fee of matching everyone happiness; the Glazers, United fans, Sancho's and Dortmunds.

I can't believe how many clowns Sky bring on their channel. Alan McInally is so embarassing in this interview. Surely, he can at least learn the players name. I never knew we were chasing "Jordan Sancho". He says it so many times as well.

And then you have Darmesh insisting that Sancho might ask Dortmund if he can speak to Utd.....the same Darmesh who reported the personal terms are no longer an issue!

I used to be glued to SSN for transfer news. But I got Sky again last January and I don't think that I have had it on once. Any news that does break is on twitter long before SSN. I guess there are a lot of fans who don't follow the news on social media, but SSN feels like a bit outdated to me.

I remember being glued to SSN in 2002 whilst on holiday on some horrible lads holiday. But then we didn’t have Twitter, mobile internet and the papers were 24 hours out of date. That’s probably the last time it was relevant.

Todays Transfer Window podcast. Ian McGary said Dortmund will accept €100mil guaranteed and €20mil in addons, nothing less. Utd have known this for weeks but have yet to meet the demands.

What’s his source?

I think that’s a fair compromise, so long as the add on are based on extra revenue ie: win PL or EL.

I watched this live earlier, absolutely embarrassing.

How they let people like Mclnally to give their opinion I will never know.

It could work with both players but Fred would probably have to be paired with VdB with Pogba and Bruno sharing duties in the advanced midfield role.
