Villa are a very good attacking team, and going into the final 10 with a one-goal lead is asking for trouble. We really need to get better at finishing our chances, god knows we had more than enough of them.

Pogba has found his best position left of a diamond and AWB showing he's fairly good in attack when he's on form and not tired. Our best attacking outlet in the first half with several forward runs and finding teammates including setting up Martial's goal. Shaw also had some good attacking play

Villa did have several half or three quarter chances in the air which remains a weakness. Watkins failed to make any of his truly count.

Nice block from Bailly at the end too

That traore is a real handful, tough butt clenching win made even more tense with pogba's brain fart at the end when he could have easily wasted time.

Top result.

I do question our IQ at times. That last run when Rashford tried to play in a ball instead of going to the corner. Would have been unforgivable.

Without taking much away from Villa, we definitely made it a lot harder on ourselves.

All that aside, 3 points is what matters most.

I still don't think we have a title winning side. But Ole is at the wheel and I'm loving it.

How the feck did we hold on?
How the feck didn`t we score more?
How the feck did Rashford get 90 min?
How the feck wasn`t Mings punished for that elbow?

What a game what a win. Bailly was a colossus in defence. AWB bar his brain fart for the goal was also outstanding with DDG, Pogba and Fred also putting in good shifts. I thought Rashford was quite frustrating tonight - was selfish at times and also continues to show poor decision making at the vital time.

Very enjoyable game.

Great result, the momentum just keeps building.

AWB, Bailly, Fred, Pogba, Bruno all great tonight. Matic did well when he came on.

Couple of cup games then bring on the scousers!!!

Some great team play, but we are so ponderous in attack. Rashford has been way too indecisive when he's got a chance to get a shot away recently.

That Bailly block at the end was the defensive equivalent of smashing it top bins from 30 yards. Emphatic.

Scrappy win in the end, but the result was what we needed today. Joint top of the league to start off the year. I'll more than take that.

Pogba was MOTM for me today.
Bailly was superb. He offers us so much more than Lindelof, and his physical attributes complement Maguire much more. Hopefully he stays fit and continues his good run of form.
AWB looked constructive going forward today.
Bruno continues to be insanely productive.

Great win but Ole needs to wake up
1) James for Bruno was a shocking decision (Rashford was both poor and exhausted), and also left us with a big gap in midfield
2) a lot of carelessness at the end from Pogba/ Rashford, who were bailed out by Bailly - just take the ball to the corner of the pitch and run the clock, almost cost us the game

Good win against a good side. Top of the league with Liverpool. Second half was not good. We let them controll more of the game. Rashford, as good as he is, must learn to realese the ball. Solskjaer have done it brilliant to make the team play in different ways. And I like the fact that he make substitutions when needed. Pure tactical.

Pheww a proper nail biter! Immense 3 pts, even though we didn't play all that well, but that's what big clubs do, win even when not playing well.

Fck that shiny cnut Grealish, if you look at him the wrong way, he goes down. Also double fck that abhorrent mega cnut Oliver!

We’re still rough around the edges but we’re a proper team now. We play some lovely stuff at times and this was yet another entertaining game of football.

The game was a heart stopper. Had chances to go 3 goals ahead but didn't convert. Just edged it and deserved

Great game. Almost had a heart attack. United never make anything easy! We played really well. Would have been a travesty if we dropped points. Villa played their part I must say, but rightly lost!

Proud of all the lads. So damn happy! Just praying we keep going.

Thought that was a very good performance.
Looked dangerous and defended well, although we lacked concentration on occasions.
I absolutely love the willing, hunger and desire throughout the team now, personified by Pogbas performance.

Another game of not being good enough but getting the three points. Good stuff.

Game was probably fantastic for a neutral fan. I was shitting myself all game.

We played a very good team, who have beaten most of our rivals.

We deserved to win a very good game, between two form teams.
