Great player, one of a kind. Don’t know how to say this in a correct way, but... He seem to do so strange things sometimes, like his celebration after the penalty looked like he didn’t have all the horses in the stable.
Where’d you learn that idiom? Ulan Bator?

The goalkeeper did it to him after he saved his first penalty

Doesnt fit peps mould.
They might be but with Pep you never know. He really isn't his style of player. Depends if Pep is willing to ignore that for his goalscoring.

He wasn't a fan of Ibra.
He is a pressing machine, his movement is exceptional and already among the best in the world while being extraordinary finisher. Pretty much opposite of Ibra who technically looked at a higher level, but didn't had those qualities.

Same as with Aguero. If he will be deadly upfront Pep will want him.

The only thing is that City will have to break the bank and their policy in a way. They are the biggest spenders, but individually they never paid more then 65 million for a player. Also, he is Raiola client and Pep had a beef with him.
That gives me a bit of hope, not the way he plays. The boy is an remarkable talent.

I know he is a remarkable talent but his touch passing and technical quality isn't exactly near the level Pep usually goes for.

I still think he might go for him as the rest of his ability outweighs those small flaws. But with managers like Pep with his fundamentals there is hope it might be a deal-breaker for him.

Raiola would probably be a big block to him moving there too.

Least we can get over that with money haha.

City have the luxury bid not needing Halaand. We do not.

I have said it before - he is on a completely different level than our strikers.

Just offer anything to get him - if it means blowing our entire budget, just do it

Given the choice of a CB and RW with Pogba staying or Halaand and Pogba staying I'd chose Halaand all day.

Would elevate us so much.

@GifLord Any chance of a a gif of the disallowed goal?

People comparing him with Lukaku.
He’s nothing like anyone. He’s the first of his kind. Maybe I can understand the Zlatan comparisons, but he’s got blistering pace, great at pressing, actually contributes defensively, and is already miles ahead of Zlatans scoring record at the same age.

I think a mad scientist will come out of hiding to reveal how he created this cyborg soon. Because it’s unreal how perfect #9 he actually is.

Yep, love that Haaland gave it back to that c*ntish team. Reminded me of Ruud doing the same to the defender from Estonia (?) when he also scored a penalty after being mocked.

That second goal was pure beast-mode from him, such a shame it was disallowed because it was fantastic strength from Haaland to brush the defender off. The finish with his weaker foot from that tight angle was just as impressive as the run before.

How did the Norwegian PE teacher not sign him in the summer? He used to manage him for god sake and they speak the same language. Who ever signs this lad is going to win for years to come. He is unbelievable. God help us if city get him or even worse Liverpool..

I can definitely see why people compare him with Zlatan. He has the same drive and directness that Zlatan had early in his career. Like a fecking tank killing everything between him and the goal. Then there are differences, both are unique and amazing players.

Absolute world class forward but just worry he won't get the service with our holes in the team behind him
Utter bollocks. I´ve heard that statement so often lately (Goldbridge...), and it makes no sense at all. How many goals have we scored this season? How many goals did Martial score as nr. 9 last season? How many chances has be blown the last few months? How many assists could Shaw have had this season if we had Haaland as nr. 9? Besides, Haaland does not only score goals, he´s also very much part of the build-up play with his quick one touch passes, while Martial is falling over without getting a free kick.

In sum, the idea that there is no point in signing Haaland because we don´t create chances for our nr. 9 is totally meaningless.

Best young striker since who? Rooney maybe? Although they have a different skillset.

Buyout clause. Wasn't on Ole.

I am almost confident we would win the Premier League next year and go very deep in the Champions League if we get Haaland. He is that good.

In fact I think he actually has the potential to be in the Messi/Ronaldo bracket. Honestly 150 million would be a good price long term.

I highly doubt that Bayern get him from Dortmund (both because Lewandowski is still going strong and Haaland will probably want a new league), but they'll probably be thinking that the option might be there later on in his career.
This. And PL would be perfect for Haaland with his physical style of play. Much more suited that a more technical Spanish league. No team will have the money to sign him this summer, but when his realise clause kicks in, I think Haaland would be very tempted by United, especially if Ole is still the manager.

I feel like he would drop down a level or two if we did sign him. Most players we do sign often decline with us, it would be alright if we signed a proper player for the RW and Pogba doesn’t leave.

but let’s be honest if he didn’t sign for us with only Dortmund as our competition we’ve got no hope with City, Madrid, Barcelona involved.
Let´s be pathetic, you mean.

If were was a striker to compare him to it would indeed be Lukaku. They share a similar profile, though Haaland is better when it comes to acceleration, first touch consistency and perhaps goal scoring.

Let's talk Woodward's language. You want to be able to sell more shirts to casual football fans globally? Get Haaland. You want the guy every sponsor in the world will want to be seen next to? Get Haaland.

I´m worried our transfer budget this summer won´t be much above 50m. If we sell a few, we could get it to 100. Still 50 missing, cause I don´t think Dortmund will let him for less than they asked for Sancho last summer, even if he has a release clause. I wouldn´t mind Sancho, though, and Haaland next summer. Selling one of them would be enough for Dortmund to survive, and I doubt they will force Sancho into another season when he looked ready to leave already one year ago.

He'll be going to City. Don't get your hopes up.
Maybe our club should start being held accountable for not actually trying to get back to the top.

Be criminal if we don't go toe to toe with city for him. No excuses. If he chooses them fair enough but atleast match every bid.

It'll be hard enough to catch City in the next 5 years, imagine how much more impossible it would become if they sign the best striker that money can buy.

If we pull out a signing like Halaand it will really help close the gap just that bit more. It would be one position where we are better than them in.

I just don't see how we can compete with City for the signing and it will be them going all out for him to replace Aguero.

Money: They blow us out of the water.

Trophies: The last time they went trophyless was 16/17. We haven't won a trophy since 16/17.

Manager: No comparison.

Depressing.
I think you can delete the last one, cause our manager will be to our advantage when Haaland makes his pick. Besides, you could argue that our direct style suits him a lot better than City´s tiki taka, which could actually be quite important for Haaland.

Let me add to that: His dad played for Manchester City and our captain made his best effort to cripple him.
But his dad´s first football card had Steve Coppell on it. I think that will do.
