Well done to Etihad Airways, and your 1 billion pound vanity project.

You can only play the team they put in front of you. In this case, a petulant bunch of mercenary shite bags, bank rolled by your rivals, Qatar Airways, and their 1 billion pound vanity project.

There's a possibly that you'll meet Chelsea in the final. A club bank rolled by an oil oligarchs vanity project.

There will be no fans in the stadium. But that doesn't matter, because nobody really cares about either of the teams taking part.

What wonderful times we live in.

No team in particular.
Heh, PSG are total bottle jobs. Not a proper club at all. Nobody cares about them.

BTW, we have beaten both of these teams on their own pitches this season.
An still lost to a turkish team who is now battling to not be relegated in Turkey.

That's some England - Iceland Euro2016 level of flop.

I think they'll face a tough game in the final no matter who they play. Both sides will play with a lot more width than PSG did I imagine (Chelsea especially)

They say Championship winning sides are built on a strong back line.

Amazing what £200 million worth of CBs can do for you. Stones, Laporte, Dias and Ake. Not to mention Ederson, Walker, Cancelo, Mendy and Zinchenko who must’ve cost upwards of £200 million combined. Close to half a billion on defence alone.

Still cant understand why Neymar left Barca and Messi for this PSG side...
Despite the truck loads of money I can understand in some ways that in order to achieve the biggest individual title, the Ballon d'or, he couldn't keep playing next to Messi because he would've always been in his shadow.

How did Fernandinho not get booked after committing like 5 fouls, I will never know. The ref just closed his eyes whenever that Brazilian turd was fouling PSG players.

All I can say is that we better improve our squad with couple of signings keep Pogba and hope that Rash, Greenwood and other young players will continue growing, otherwise City will continue dominating for years to come
All that because of fecking tons of money invested

$$$$$$$$$ Also wanted to be main man, pity he isn't much of one.
Yea I guess money talks. Watching them play together was so enjoyable though and not being the main man would actually be a good thing for Neymar. More space to work in and not have 5 men on him every single time he has the ball

He should have gone to a good team then.

Zero shots on target for PSG. Should have had 3 red cards, possibly more.

Only game plan seemingly give it to Neymar or Mbappe. After first 45 minutes of first leg they've been woeful, couldn't even set a wall up. Poch won't last long.

Aston Villa were harder for City to beat than PSG.

Why are so many people saying football is over and has lost its soul if Man City win the CL?

I'm sorry but it's as if you've only started watching football the past decade. I see what City has done as no different to that of Chelsea in the 00's.

So if you're suggesting football is over because of City then you're 20 years too late. The end started with Sky and their broadcasting rights and then Chelsea being pumped with money.

This was PSG after they knocked out a injury hit Bayern Munich. Can't imagine Ferguson allowing such celebrations until a trophy was won

Sickening seeing them there. Winning the league on Saturday and then favourites for a CL final in a few weeks time. This used to be us. When are we gonna get serious and pull our finger out?

How didn’t Fernandinho get booked.

Joe Hart: “they’ve got history. Not real history, but history”.

Foden is incredible. What a talent.

Mahrez is one of the best technical dribblers I've seen. Like Arjen Robben, he's so predictable, but nearly impossible to stop.

Who, in the name of god, at Manchester City has “been through the divisions”?

Pep - if you count La Liga, Bundesliga...but that’s it.

I dont want Chelsea getting a second ucl title and being one behind us. I can't stand seeing madrid winning it all the time and adding to their dozen or more titles.

If City win it then fair enough. Its good for Manchester. Its their first one. Pep might call it a day after it.

One cheat club beats another cheat club. Media will be making a mess of themselves for weeks.

At least covid will save City from the visual of bringing 37 fans to a European Cup final.

when I watch international football it seems that in high pressure games bad sportsmanship when losing is particularly common from southern European and Latin-American players. It sure isnt exclusive since I remember the English National Team being the same when losing in the past games.

Although the Dutch have a a habbit of spitting too.

punishment for unsportsmanlike conduct should be enforced more and more severely

Don’t bring back painful memories now!

Yeah definitely. Couldn’t see anyone knocking a full strength Bayern out.
The commentators were saying that Bayern are no match for this City side. I could only laugh. How bad can your English bias be to put forth such an astonishingly bad assessment.

A full strength Bayern would have picked apart this City.

Would prefer that to City rubbing our faces in it

This is the team that all joined in and mocked Haaland's crossed leg thing in celebration. It's like the old Arsenal 2007-08 memes of celebrating throw-ins and corners all over again

And now Hart and Lescott going on about City’s history, how much hard work has gone into building the club :boring:. Pumping in more money than any other club in Europe, added to a Covid crisis which has increased the gap between them and the rest. Any club that Abu Dhabi decided to take over would be in exactly the same position. Trying to align that with City’s history prior to 2008 is frankly laughable.
