That rule changed I think.

The maximum is 4 from England whatever happens.

So if Chelsea finish outside the top 4, and win the Champions League, I believe the fourth place team doesn't play in the Champions League.
5 is fine, that rule is for when it could be 6

There’s not much point in being bothered about Liverpool finishing 4th when that happens. What’s meant to be is meant to be.

Don't Burnley usually roll over for them? I have no faith in Burnley or Crystal Palace.
What happens if Leicester and Chelsea draw, would that be the most favourable outcome?

Didn't actually watch so sums it up that West Brom had a valid goal ruled out based on comments here.

However our bumbling fools didn't half give them a gift, complete with massive bow
If Liverpool win their remaining two games, the only results that stop them getting top four is Chelsea winning both their remaining matches and Leicester beating Spurs by a large margin and edging Liverpool on GD. A draw between Leicester and Chelsea doesn't help as this would mean the most Chelsea can get is 68 and Liverpool would be on 69

Yeah but if they both win it!
I think VAR are looking at Mane's noise hair in the lines that they draw. I'm sure it will be doable to get both teams a victory if they both score 2 goals or more or something. The Mane lines will dictate. :D

Burnley did get a draw last season against Liverpool. Not sure about Palace getting a result though.
The combination of VAR and the goalkeeper scoring the winner is the type of fate that will see Liverpool getting CL

Wouldn't be suprised if Liverpool play not that well for the next two games and still get 6 points

They lost like 6 PL games in the space of 1 month - 1 Month and a half, yet they’re still gonna be in the champions next year. Hell, this could get them a boost to challenge next year.. More attraction in the market and VVD coming back

This is only on us and that depressed performance against them.

Yeah people need to realise all Liverpool realistically need to is win their last two quite simply games and its done, otherwise you're relying on some goal difference magic which is unlikely.

Am I correct in thinking that if Liverpool do finish 4th, they still have to go through a qualifying round??

4 mins of injury time, scores in the 5th. Sounds about right.
It's a corner kick at 93:50, so basically it's last kick of the game. To be fair, nothing wrong with it.
