This have been a really bad home performance from almost the entire team. I´d say only Wan Bissaka and Varane was good today. We played really poor both as a team and many individual performances was way below standard so Villa fully deserved their win today.

United will not win the league with no tactical sense, keep playing 2 holding midfield even though they are out of form. The best forward in the world will not score if United goes too defensive, especially at home. What a waste of money keeping Sancho out of the team and playing such a selfish Greenwood.

Lucky against Wolves, woeful against young boys, west ham and now fecking villa!!

Enough is enough, Ole isn't up to this....please, either sack him or he should walk! Get Zidane in asap and we might have some hope for this season, otherwise it's 5 years without any trophy.

We are never winning a big trophy with that midfield..

    end of

how have we not signed a midfielder…
It isn't on the midfield. The overall general play is dire and has been for some time. Only 2 convincing wins and the rest have been dodgy as hell. We easily could be still in single figures for points.

Why can't our owners be decisive? Chelsea didn't piss about with Fwank. A proper coach has totally transformed that team.

We had one good and one decent game this season with all those so called stars. Rest was a disaster after disaster. They can feck off.

Bet you were praying we'd lose just to make that post.

    Feel better now?
I was praying you'd prove me wrong. As it is, that was one of the worst United performances I've ever seen in my life. If you can't see how utterly terrible that was, I don't know what to tell you.

I know he missed, but I'm happy Ole had Bruno on pens. His record is elite and he deserved to take it. The pressure of Ronaldo watching on probably got to him. He smashed it when he never takes pens like that.

Disappointing result. I thought we saw the very good and bad of Mason. He was our most dangerous player by far, but way too selfish. We probably win this if he chooses to pass instead of shooting at every opportunity.

Bruno has the better pen record.

I have no doubt Bruno missed because he was thinking about Ronaldo.
That's very stupid. He should be thinking about scoring for Man Utd if he is given the job to take it, if he is not in his right mind, not ready to handle all that pressure in injury time, should just let Ronaldo take it instead. Its a very poor effort.

If Ole goes, they have to get rid of the coaching staff as well. They are a big part of the problem.

 Right wing was our most urgent need and not midfield.
Yup. Said it over and over. We are at home and the best we have to put out there in midfield is Fred and McTominay. On top of that we have a manager who lets face it is a legend for what he did on the pitch but is way short of the coaching -tactical standards this club needs.
Ask yourself which club would want Ole as their manager right now or even at the start of the season. Nobody in the Prem. None.
    Says it all.
Ole out because we will win nothing with him

Ole needs to chenge something. It is clear as day that our current plan does not work. We can grab a close win from time to time thanks to moments of brilliance but thats it. We can not destroy teams.

I never said it wasn't a terrible performance.

Getting outplayed by Villa at home, which was certainly the case today, is frankly unacceptable.

Hopeless hopeless, its just a bad week, and it happens Villa deserve there win Utd abloulte rubbish from the start. Bruno doesn't miss many but today to rescue a point. I'm pleased with what Oles done at UTD , maybe his time has come to an end, there was nothing in that side today to see how they can win anything, Maybe Young boys result was the start to a spiral backwards, was Getting Ronny back the best idea.

Looked realy realy average . City will win the league and Liverpool be close we be fighting it out for 3rd or 4th or 5th. Because Leicester are a decent side as well. 2 more losses in the league before Xmas Oles gone seriously the board have to look at it. Who comes I I don't know, I don't like managers sacked , but the last 3 games have been average at best. Ronny should have been taken off after 60 mins 3 CB on him all game Fair play to Villa they sussed it out and other teams will to.

Second half was not good enough and that’s nothing to do with ole. goal shouldn’t be given though and we should have nicked it in the end. But all in all not good enough to challenge if we play like this. Hope maguire and Shaw are back soon

    Well that was disappointingly predictable.
Saw Villa against Chelsea and there were decent, on another day they could have won.
Ole is a club legend regardless but he’s not good enough to manage us unfortunately.
    Ole out.

So we signed Varane to take the place of an improving Lindelof....needed

We signed Sancho for the right wing....improves over Greenwood but not the neccessity people made out, especially now Greenwood is more likely to play there with Ronaldo signing and the fact we have two potentially good yougnsters in Pellestri and Amad.

We signed Ronaldo which In understand but forgettting the injury niggles, lets not forget we already have one of the best older strikers in the world in Cavani

So we have made three quality signings, but not such team improvers as they look on paper of vital signings........................................

Yet when it seems blindingly obvious we need to sign TWO central midfielders, for me our biggest priority was strengthening here. Yet Ole still thinks Pogba can play there or that McFred are a good partnership is absolutely beying me.

I thought once th ewindow closed, that is why we still wont win anything or be challenging for trophies at the end of the season....I didn texpect it to be happening so early on in to the season though. OUr start has been masked by ROnaldos return and a couple of goal laden performances v Leeds and Newcastle.................we havent played well in a single game this season, only sporadically.

I am not one to usually be so dramatic early on in a season but sorry, Ole simply has to go, along with whoever else thought we didnt need a midfielder signed this summer let alone two. I have been open minded to him, I like him and I like the fact he has tried to do things the United way.....but he simply isnt up to the task.....as neither are JOnes, Tuanzabe, Bailly, Dalot, Fred, Lingard, Pogba, Martial, Mata, Matic.............seriously how the hell are all of these players still here...thats a full side minus a keeper.

And what concerns me, we have big personalities and winners here, with performances and tactics like that......heis going to lose the dressing room soon....when actually half of it should be followin ghim out the door...and on a side note why on earth was Fernandes takign the penalty over Ronaldo?

Because the perceived knowledge even on here was that Sancho was a priority. Not from me. We had Greenwood. Midfield has always been sorely lacking and i see the Mr Hindsights are starting to understand how lacking we are in the engine room of our team. To me it has been bleedin obvious for several seasons. If you had asked me to choose between a Camavinga and a Sancho it would always have been the midfielder.

trouble is, they've left it late. Who is available now? I don't believe Zidane is good enough. Allegri was there for the taking...

thing in bold is what worries me !!Gradual decrease of performances over last 5 matches

If things go to that level this team might need Conte more than Zidane

A quick observation after sitting through the whole game.

Fred is criticised all the time, wtf does McTominlay do at least Fred has a dig, McTom was terrible today and should have been subbed at half time.

Greenwood has to be aware of whats around him , too many attempts when others were better positioned.

Pogba is a luxury player, talented etc but doesn’t appear suited to the EPL.

If you play Ronaldo, then at least play some wide players who can provide service and make runs , didn’t see much of that at all.

Without a real DM, there will be too many times when the defence is exposed to quick breaks, so obvious today.

I’ll wait for someone to explain tactics and how we were actually set up, seems more about getting individual plays rather than a pattern of play to provide chances.

Overall a mess today, and it’s not popular to say it, but Ole has some work to do
