14/15 million? Wasnt Mourinhos 17 million or something.Every contract has termination clauses. So he won't be getting his full pay for the remaining period but only a percentage of it.
Give us your manager please pal, we on our kneesWhy is Ole still not fired?
This kid is a 18 year old from Norway that wants to be the new Fabrizio Romano. I doubt he knows anything.Tweet

Whilst I now agree we should be evaluating options to replace Ole, sacking without even so much as identifying a replacement is rarely a good thing to do.If he's not sacked in the next 2 hours then he won't go. This club has no ambition, they keep throwing the "biggest club" tag around and act like mid table club.
Also worrying that some fans are happy to go along with it and certain pundits support it.
Not sacking him after the awful and getting torn a new one by Liverpool tells you everything about this club. Absolute joke
Exactly 3 months ago today. It’s truly baffling. I can’t imagine they did it to prevent other clubs from sniffing around. What would’ve been the harm to leave it until next summer and go from thereWhy on Earth did they give him a new contract during the summer. Didnt they do the same with Mourinho if i recall.
Usually not more than 50% of the pay for the remaining period of contract.14/15 million? Wasnt Mourinhos 17 million or something.
Yes, but any competent board would have started planning for a plan B before the last international break and speaking to managers after the Leicester game.Whilst I now agree we should be evaluating options to replace Ole, sacking without even so much as identifying a replacement is rarely a good thing to do.
I think after today it’s safe to say the club will be looking at replacements. I’d like them to identify somebody, personally somebody like Ten Haag, and lay the groundwork and investigate when they can physically switch across to us etc.
Sacking with no replacement means this ownership will absolutely 100% rush into anybody who is available with zero planning, they are useless idiots who learn nothing.
Steve Bruce had £8m as his severance pay, in his contract. It’s not just about percentages but what you negotiate when you sign the contract.Every contract has termination clauses. So he won't be getting his full pay for the remaining period but only a percentage of it.
Agreed. Depends on who has the upper hand and is more desperate to get the deal done. I would imagine Citeh gave Pep a 100 million termination payout.Steve Bruce had £8m as his severance pay, in his contract. It’s not just about percentages but what you negotiate when you sign the contract.
Yea they should have just left it. Not as if Bayern were desperate to hire him.Exactly 3 months ago today. It’s truly baffling. I can’t imagine they did it to prevent other clubs from sniffing around. What would’ve been the harm to leave it until next summer and go from there
Oh exactly, the warning signs were there. There was no need to do it, no one was going to poach him (which says it all) had we had a super start to the season, and we get to Christmas in a really strong position, by all means give him the extension then, I'd have had no problem with that. Unfortunately the signs were becoming apparent last season that he was out of his depth. Key moments eg not seeing the Fred red card waiting to happen against psg which ultimately cost us the game/ the pathetic defensive showing vs the Turkish side/ the Europa final.Who was the clown that gave him the new contract? And fans backed that decision.
Some utterly clueless people in this club.
Zidane is 3/1 on paddy power. Rogers 4/1 and Conte 5/1.Brendan Rodgers is currently favourite to be our next manager
Good comparison - some fecking progressWe had 16 points at this stage last season. Scoring 16 conceding 16.
This year we have 14 points, scoring 16 conceding 15.
We won our league Cup 3rd round game last year, lost it this season.
Champions league last year we won 2 and lost 1, scoring 8 and conceding 3.
This season we have won 2 and lost 1, scoring 8 and conceding 5.
This is his level. He has also had three top class players added to his squad and a set piece coach yet still can't get us to improve. We have Spurs away and City home next and last season we took four points from the corresponding fixtures. I certainly don't see that happening this season though. I actually pray he gets fired or resigns before we fall even further behind.
I honestly cannot fathom how anyone would want him to stay as manager at this point. I really just do not get it at all.
I’m a major fan of Rodgers and would be very excited if he were to take over. We may not win the league or a European pot (who out there offers that guarantee?), but we’d be a very well coached side who’d play beautiful, progressive football. What’s not to like about that?Brendan Rodgers is currently favourite to be our next manager
This is the fear. It is fecking imperative that whoever we sign can work with the squad we have assembled.Yes, but any competent board would have started planning for a plan B before the last international break and speaking to managers after the Leicester game.
But knowing how the club is ran, they don't even have short list drawn up.
He’s turned down multiple offers from elsewhere - if you believe reports. Seems loyal to Leicester thoughBrendan Rodgers is currently favourite to be our next manager
We probably shouldn't hire our next manager on wether or not they're easy to sackRodgers would be shit but at least he'd be easy to sack.
Anyone other than Southgate I'll take on a short term rescue mission. Even if I'd prefer a long term replacement like Rose or ten Hag next season.
Didn't they have to wait to notify the stock exchange last time?If he's not sacked in the next 2 hours then he won't go. This club has no ambition, they keep throwing the "biggest club" tag around and act like mid table club.

Important people - '''Ole, why shouldn't we sack you?''Tweet

This is also the sentiments I feel. The fans contribute to the owners mediocrity by using the same fairytale argument that because things failed under Mourinho, hiring a renown manager is out of the question. I appreciate Solskjaer finishing second last season, however Poch did the exact same thing under Spurs and it is still totally disregarded. If he's not sacked in the next 2 hours then he won't go. This club has no ambition, they keep throwing the "biggest club" tag around and act like mid table club.
