Put him on the shelf with Guillem Balague.
That's a name I haven't heard in a while. Where's he these days?

If we are indeed sacking Ole, the caretaker or the new manager has to be someone who has nothing to do with Manchester United.

I don't get why it's happening now, after the Watford game ?
Because you can dress up City and Liverpool as 2 quality teams.
But even the biggest apologist can't condone a 4-1 battering to relegation hoverers Watford!

They were protecting him precisely because of that + they didn't want to make themselves look silly by sacking yet another manager whom they just given a contract extension to.
If only someone could find out where Joel Glazer eats out. Imagine what we could do.

Bizarre to do this now and not two weeks ago. We're meant to be playing a must not lose in Spain on Tuesday. Why not fire Ole after City and allow a new coach proper prep time? The people that run this club...

What on earth can be said in an "emergency" meeting that hasn't been so fecking obvious for ages that it can't possibly be considered an emergency?
“feck! Do you have any idea how much it’ll cost to get rid of him and his staff!?”

Why not try someone who has nothing to do with football?

Glad that Rogers lost and hope he is not anywhere in the discussions.
Yep. Hope their mini collapse has done enough to make sure the board don't go after him. They will feel they need some good will back with the fans.. Hiring a failed ex Liverpool manager isn't the way to do that.

I'd be shocked if Zidane accepted the role, the guy has done almost everything humanly possible to avoid playing or coaching in England even to a point of not learning English.

Well the club does invest money in the squad. What amazes me is how can the likes of Woodward keep their job while fecking again and again. This club is screaming for an experienced football CEO who knows football inside out.

Emergency board meeting? Six months too late, as usual. There should be a meeting to sack the board never mind Ole.

That's the most worrying thing for me. We need to see some change in whoever is advising the board on football matters.
I’ll whisper it…I think it’s Sir Alex. :(

It’s not going to happen with this pathetic board but once Solskjaer (hopefully) goes, we also need to cut ties with the old guard and that includes the great man himself. Like I said, not going to happen, unfortunately.

Would love it if they go straight from the final whistle at Anfield, straight into United talk and announcements :)

Probably like we did when they had whoever they had before Klopp.
However, we'll get on the right manager by sheer percentages soon, then they won't be laughing.
