Jota should be booked for fooling the ref, he's learnt well off the likes of Salah and Mane on how to win a penalty when no foul happened.
Yes Jota actually should have been booked but now that damage has been done both VAR refree and onfield refree should actually be fined and reprimanded for such an obvious error despite all the video evidence how can they both be so incompetent .

Compare that Jota incident with the two we didn’t get at West Ham and then the one we didn’t get when we lost to them in the LC.

Klopp cried about us getting loads and now it’s completely flipped.

Chelsea-Spurs draw now after that Arsenal result and it's a decent weekend

I'd kind of taken the posts on here about the PL being totally a one horse race at face value without properly checking the top end of the table. Can see though if Liverpool win their game in hand, they're only 6 points off City, which seems to be about the current level in every major league in Europe?

Nothing starnge about the pen. We know by now how Liverpool are always lucky with those decisions.

I mean that’s just how the game was going. We don’t concede many in the final 15 minutes of games (two all season).
Don’t understand football if you don’t think that result couldn’t change without the penalty. Conceding twice in the last 15 just proves it can and does happen.

They didn’t even look at our two against West Ham, and they were absolute stone wallers. Where’s the consistency?

It also proves that it doesn't happen frequently since that's 9% of our games. I'll concede that it made the ending more comfortable than it could have been, of course, and it's a ridiculous decision, also agreed, but we weren't "bailed out" or "needed that" at all like I've seen some claim as if it was a draw at the moment of the penalty.

What do we want here at Stamford bridge?

A draw in my opinion since Tottenham have three games in hand and are only two points behind us. Chelsea on the other hand is six in front of us but we have a game in hand.

It's super tough to call but catching Chelsea seems like our only hope considering how tight the fourth place is.

We’ll never know if you needed it or not, because you got it. You’ve taken needed it too literally, you were winning but looking shaky, we’ve seen in the Premier league in the last few weeks how dangerous a one goal lead is.

The KDB incident yesterday was a penalty ten times over that Jota one. Everyone knows that's not a penalty except the only people who should know that it wasn't.

Liverpool probably would've went on to win the game anyway, but that decision killed any possibility of Palace getting something. And hence is a massive decision in the context of the title race.

Chelsea win. We need to tighten things up, having Spurs get confidence and open up a 7 point lead on us is not the way imo

Yeah, draw would probably be ideal result for us, keeps our hopes of potentially catching Chelsea and Spurs drop 2 points as well.

6 at the back and 2 defensive midfielders for Spurs or am I imagining that line up?

Leicester look like they're going through a huge wobble.
Brendan can get in the bin.

His response to going 1 up is to stop trying to play football.

Funnily enough, when you have nearly the worst defense in the league, trying to absorb pressure for 45 minutes doesn't usually work out well for us.

Klopp can give a big thank you to VAR today. Expected goals C Palace (1.82) 1-3 (1.48) Liverpool

You do have like 10 players unavailable for various reasons and that's been going on for some time.

The same way the non-penalty on Emerson and the lack of a Kane red card against Tottenham was pivotal in opening up the gap between City and Liverpool. Poor refereeing has too much of an effect on all levels.

Oh well, at least my bathroom is squeky clean.

Just saw penalty, funny how Jota loses the ball then runs, makes step to his right hits the goalkeeper and falls down. And they get penalty. But I guess media will talk about yestersay's "offside".
