Left footed. Good enough for me if he is deemed that by Ten Hag + Scouts.

I never understand tweets like this.

Surely our scouts have been already watching him. How couldn't they be?

Why would we have to purposely send a scout after it's already been established that we will be looking at him?!

Sounds like an agent leak to say 'hey look at my client he's wanted by United better snap him up quick'

Auxerre academy graduate, good technique and great build for a defender. Has been having a great season for Frankfurt this year. Strong, quick and good on the ball.

If he can do that in the premier league, he will be the most exciting defender to watch next season.

Seems cheap for someone who's quite highly rated and had a good season from what I've heard/read. Not watched him though.

I like these kind of deals. This smacks of someone that’s on Ralf’s proven networks, rather than whatever fecking network was used to pick AWB as the best out of 800 other players,

My word. This guy looks immense!

And I like that he has a Welsh first name, its random. Unpredictable. I like it.

He has many attributes that stand out and has been very good this season but he is also a bit risky but if he is available for the money mentioned he would be a bargain.

His red card in the last minute of the game against Barcelona was quite harsh I think.

I never comment on transfer rumours and muppet threads but if there ever was a young defender whose playing style reminded of Van Dijk, it is this dude. Very impressive.

If he ends up in the PL, he will very quickly learn not to go on these dribbles, surely.

Looks a beast, but not very CBish from that video. He’s always out wide and scoring?!
Love that nothing got past him though. A proper brick wall. Just stands there and takes the ball, no backing off or lunging in wildly. Maybe he could coach our CB how to defend?

If Jones and Bailly leave, this would open up a spot in the squad and if ETH deems him to be good enough then the club should secure his signature quickly, according to the article in MEN, he has one year left in his contract with Frankfurt, so he would be a cheap option to strengthen the CB spot.

Wonder if this guy was on ten Hag's Ajax wish list? I've honestly never heard of him.

Frankfurt are 11th in the league but could potentially make the Europa league final tomorrow. Huh. Neat

I would be up for these signings, £20m would mean he is not under immense pressure to succeed and can take time settling in.

This also means we are not blowing our budget on defenders like we have in the past.

We don’t have the letter V in our alphabet, so unfortunately I have to shoot you down there by saying it’s a Welsh first name :wenger:

Would be a better signing than Akanji for a similar quoted price IMO, you know what you're getting with him but Ndicka has the type of physicality, athleticism and touch that could make him a bit special.

Also left-footed so better balance in the backline and arguably less pressure to play him straight away because he's not as big a name, wouldn't be on huge wages and he's only 22.

I’d rather start taking risks for 20 million on players like this with a strong emerging profile instead of waiting years for someone like TFM/Williams/even garner to maybe make it into a squad player having done nothing much in the mens game and just being forced into the squad based on economics and sentimentality. This guy has already gone out there and made it. You’ll have your answer if he’s good enough to step up and become a starter after one contract. Massive upside. Relatively small risk. He’ll probably always be worth close to 20 million. Makes too much sense for the old us. Fingers crossed this is another sign we are cooking up a new more effective recruitment strategy

I don’t know why I get excited with signings like this since I’ve never watched/heard of him ever. But from reading abit about him, it’s a cheap price for a young player with a high ceiling and with hunger. Kind of like the players Fergie used to sign to build the base of his teams.

Google did me dirty:

Evan is a popular Welsh name meaning "the Lord is gracious." A version of the English name John, and the Spanish name Juan, Evan has Hebrew origins. The word evan, itself, means "rock" in Hebrew. Evan is also the shortened version of the Greek names Evangelos, meaning "good messenger" and Evander, meaning "good man."

Fake news.
There's something weird about the Tweet that UtdPlug is referring to:

Note: Keven Bader is a Norweigan Swedish podcaster based on his Twitter profile's description.

Sport Witness just published an article referring to this exact report. However, there's no mention of Manchester United anywhere in SportBild's report. The only other clubs mentioned in the passage below are Monaco and Marseille.

Even Sport Witness's article makes no mention of Manchester United anywhere. Get Football News Germany's article also doesn't mention Manchester United. Is there an online Bild article from today that mentions Manchester United, or are people getting misled by Keven Bader? As of now, I'd treat this as fake news. Unfortunately, many United aggregators and even an MEN writer have been publishing Tweets linking us to N'Dicka.

@Damien FYI

EDIT: Corrections
