Players could be training along time today if he introduces one of his passing drills.

Just looking through the pre season fixtures I don't think Eric will have much time with the players on the pitch.

For commercial reasons we've gone out to the far east and Australia.

It's rainy season out in Thailand so the lads will probably spend most their time in the hotel.

Then we''re in Australia where again its winter and the facilities for football are poor in comparison to the U.S.

We could have got a very good competitive tour out in the U.S. where the facilities are state of the art and it's perfect pre season weather.
Have you been to Thailand during rainy season or Australia in what they call Winter?

At this time of the year in Thailand you can get deluges but the temp is around 30. When I was there it rained less than once a day and it lasted about an hour, mostly in the early evening. Also Winter in Australia is no great hardship, it's like early spring in the UK with max temperatures of 14 in Melbourne.

I've not been, but spoke to friends who have and they explain that there'll be a downpour for an hour or 2 but it'll clear up within 30 minutes because of the temp and humidity. With that still it's not ideal pre season conditions, plus the football pitches are poor because of the amount of rain they take. You just have to look back at previous pre season games there.

The temperature may be fine in Australia but if you're setting up a pre season tour for footballing reasons, and only footballing reasons, then there's a dozen better places to go.

Logistically it's a nightmare too, say if you sign a player on the 17th July, he's going to fly from one side of the world to the other, suffer from jet lag for a couple days, play 30 minutes on the 23rd July and fly all the way back.

I've missed Martial. He's looking good. Hope Ten Hag and him get on and he stays and does well.

Can’t make out quite what Brandon is driving, but at his age he shouldn’t be. We pay him too much. Not jealous at all  :nervous: :(
ridiculous isn't it, he barely qualifies as a PL player and especially at his age he should not be driving that car

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the smiles. It's written into their contracts that they must always smile on the first day of preseason, no matter what.
