He spent all game blatantly nowhere near fit enough to be playing. While Martial stayed home again. We got a glimpse of what our season would be if we lost him to injury.
Fit or not, he was put into good positions where not being fit wasn't an excuse. His selfishness cost him, not how fit he is.

No caf logic is thinking he's changed. This is your typical Rashford from the past. He has 2-3 decent games and then goes back to being shite for an x amount of games. rinse and repeat
2-3 decent games? I really hope you are trolling.

We never had the quality for a title challenge, Arse and Citeh have better squads than us simple as that. We will get top 4 though and that's good enough for now.
Arsenal dont have a better squad. They are just playing 1 or 2 games a week as opposed to 3

Bruno and rashford were trash today
Rashford was absolutely greedy the whole second half. Had chances to set up a teammate to get the second goal but just did not pass the ball, kept running into cul-de-sacs. He was the Rashford from the last 2 seasons.

Hope ETH has a word with him to get it across that his individual records come second to United.

Bruno, apart from the goal, was absolutely useless too. Kept trying his tricks and flicks in poor areas, one of which led to Cas getting his yellow. We really need a better #10 too. Bruno at #10 is still palatable, as a RW he is atrocious.

What an awful result when combined with Cas missing against Arsenal.

Still fully believe we'll get top 4 comfortably but don't buy into title challenge talk. Still too early for that. Top 4 and trophy would be a great 1st season for ETH. We can try to push on next season if we get investment

We got what we deserve, whos ever idea was for us to control a game and contain 1:0 lead, when we aint capable, never was in most cases.

Bruno passing bombs left right center on top being obnoxious moaner. Oh well, move to Arsenal.

We were awful in second half. Casemiro fantastic but all together we were awful.

On one or two occasions definitely. His unselfishness also played a part in the only goal we scored. His lack of fitness cost us any other hope of scoring.

McTominay is awful. Not good enough to even be a rotational player as he does not contribute enough and is prone to mistakes.

A game to quickly forget. We didnt even deserve that win based off of our performance but still feels stolen. At least top 4 still feels like its in the bag looking at the table.

Can't wait to get our striker and CM. Love Eriksen but holy feck what a difference in both halves.

Bloody hell. I started feeling depressed with Casemiro getting that yellow, but felt, with us taking three points would make up for it. To lose the game in the last minute felt like I cut my finger. No excuses from the players. Bar AWB, we were not great. You can see this United team can really become a great team and we can win things. But you need to win these types of games to win the league. This gives Arsenal a massive boost now and they must be favourites for Sunday. Our players should be angry now and hopefully they can channel this in the right way for a massive push on Sunday.

Casemiro. Gets himself suspended and misses an open goal in injury time. What a prick.

Second half was shocking, we completely lost control of the game after doing so well. Saying that it all fell apart when the ref decided to not give an absolute stone wall pen.

No i'm being realistic. In the past few weeks i've seen comments like 'This is the best Rashford', 'Rashford is back'...
It's like you have gold fish memories. Rashford late 2020 was a completely different beast to this one.

Good example of a match that the best teams will often put beyond doubt so a low xG free-kick or a penalty being declined won’t matter.

    Casemiro man.

Suspended for trying to prevent an equaliser- that they got anyway. Then in injury time he missed point blank.

We certainly didn't have any luck.

I'm starting to think that you have misread what I have posted. I said that had we scored a second goal and therefore had a 2-goal cushion, we could have taken Casemiro off and therefore avoided the situation of him picking up the second yellow. What's your problem with what I have said?
Sorry dude, the fact we are playing away in London. Hindsight is great. But none of those situations presented themselves.

That's defo the next stage of our evolution we need to sort out, killing games off.

Can't call him that bro. Without him in the middle there, even though Palace were poor in the attacking phases of play, he was your most important player in breaking down their attacks.
Ah I'm sorry, il Prete. I'm joking of course. I love the man like my own son.

I missed the first half, but all I saw in the 2nd half, was sloppy play, particularly in the final 3rd of the pitch, giving the ball away, over and over again.
Even when we could get low crosses and passes into the box, it was aimless and limp.
I was hoping the final whistle would come, with 20 minutes to go.
An equaliser was looking more and more likely as the end got nearer.

I was saying that earlier. Top 4 and a trophy would be amazing. I actually called losing Casemiro and a goal before the end after 65m. It was coming.

I am not sure how we get a result at Arsenal without Casemiro. We dont have enough strength in depth in midfield.

We pinged the ball beautifully first half without really killing em and have paid the price.

Hard luck.Really top class strike at the end cost us 2 points but we probably didn’t deserve anymore. Thought Rashford was terrible. Despit his goal Bruno poor as well .
Top 4 would be an achievement with this squad.

Antony is the weak link in the whole set up, so many times he had the opportunity to feed the ball into Weghorsts feet and he chose to cut back and pass on the responsibility.

It was a shit show tonight.

Really poor effort I thought. We tried to cruise through this with Sunday in mind and paid the price. Crap decision to not award a pen for foul on McTom, and Casemiro booking is a disaster. Rashford looks like he’s still carrying his injury and Antony is not giving us what we need for the price. Forget the title, we absolutely need to get top 4.

Agree on every point, but we might get something from the Arsenal game even though they are a better team. Wout and Antony need to step up.
