Good business this. Will add depth and another dimension to our midfield.

When I read the title I thought we’d signed Elon Musk’s kid.

Thank god we’re no longer ‘Casemiro or bust’.

What is his Oleised nickname going to be though? Soffy? Yanny? Amby? Batty? Dave?

My favorite signing of this season. Will add some steel and physicality to our midfield and he's a ferocious pitbull with loads of energy. Like Fred, but better defensively and on the ball, not as good in front of opponent's box(offensively). He'll adapt to physicality of the PL, no doubt.

Loan with an option to buy? That's basically risk free. When did we start getting so good at negotiating deals?

Barcelona forum when they were linked to this guy

"Amrabat is the best bet but if course we will end up with Romeu. Pathetic, really."

"Watching Amrabat yesterday, I think he is the best option we have in the market.
He is one of the best DM around this season, play with great intensity, and he is the one who always shows for his teammates when his team has the ball, very underrated aspect of his game that is crucial for Barca.
I think he can be a Rakitic type of signing, a guy who serves the role very well but fans won't be satisfied because the bar was set by a legend. Can give us 3 or 4 good years until we find someone who is elite to replace him (hopefully).
I fully believe he is superior player to Zubimendi, both for this team and in general"

"His passing is only underrated by people who basically don't watch him play much. Basically Barca fans who know him for the WC campaign.

Amrabat is a better passer than a tackler or marker. That's his best attribute alongside the composure and workrate.

He needs to bring more nastiness and improve his ball-winning skills if he wants to be a World Class DM."

Compare this with how half of the forum are losing their minds that he isn't one of the fancy names.

WhoScored lists him as weak on "Discipline" and "Concentration".

This will go well.

This window overall has been very shrewd business, except maybe not getting rid of DVB. We've held firm and not danced to the tunes of the selling club for the first time in ages. Very happy if this is a sign of things to come.

This one's big. My hairline's gone, shaving it off soon. Having a bald player and a bald manager is important, representation matters. Will have to go to Turkey after they get sold and sacked, though

Think a loan deal is a good move in case he cant hack the pace of the EPL and were stuck with another signing that didnt fit.
So long as it’s option to buy and not obligation. It’s a good move.

Excellent signing. I guess the transfer window isn't a total failure anymore and is back to being an amazing success.

I imagine an ABC midfield in big games against strong, high pressing opposition with Mount and Eriksen as second half game changers. And a more offensive approach (probably with only one of Casemiro and Amrabat) plus gametime for Mainoo against weaker teams.

I believe that value for money, this is going to be the best signing we have done in since forever.

Now watch him being crap.

Very good business both clubs are compensated in the event the players impact is uneventful. Basically 8M for a Fred replacement provisionally for the season and if good enough a permanent signing for 30M.
