Fulham Football Club (also known as The Cottagers or The Whites), is a professional association football club based in Fulham, West London, England. Fulham were formed in 1879 as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School F.C., founded by worshipers (mostly adept at cricket) at the Church of England on Star Road, West Kensington (St Andrew's, Fulham Fields). Fulham's mother church still stands today with a plaque commemorating the team's foundation. They won the West London Amateur Cup in 1887 and, having shortened the name from Fulham Excelsior to its present form in 1888, they then won the West London League in 1893 at the first attempt.

Fulham started playing at their current ground at Craven Cottage in 1896, their first game against now defunct rivals Minerva. Fulham are one of the oldest established clubs in southern England currently playing professional football, though there are many non-league sides like Kent side Cray Wanderers who are several decades older. The club gained professional status on 12 December 1898, the same year that they were admitted into the Southern League's Second Division. They were the second club from London to turn professional, following Arsenal, then named Royal Arsenal 1891.

After suffering relegation to The Championship in 2013, Fulham have been on a road to recovery and were promoted to the Premier League on 26 May 2018, by winning 1–0 in the 2018 EFL Championship play-off Final against Aston Villa. Fulham fans consider their main rivals to be Chelsea, followed by Queens Park Rangers. They also have rivalries with other London clubs, including Brentford and Crystal Palace.

    3-0 Fulham.

Play anyone it won't matter they're all terrible.

I know these players. I'm pretty confident they will keep losing and putting in minimum effort until the manager has been sacked. This game will be no different.

Probably narrowly beat them with a deflected goal off Maguire's arse cheeks. Ten Hag will live to fight another day

What a difference a year makes. Almost exactly 1 year ago we won 2-1 at Fulham with Garnacho's late winner and had quite a promising season after WC break as well. Now we're back to year before that and our form in late Ole era.

    Uhhh guessing 2-0 loss?
    Onana
    Dalot Maguire Evans Reguilon
    Amrabat Mainoo
    Rashford Bruno Garnacho
    Hojlund

We can`t even test the keeper these days. Just a few long distance efforts here and there to boost our ”attempts” stats. No clue where a goal is going to come from. If Erik stays it is another humiliating performance incoming.
    4-0

Who we dropping this time? C’mon Mainoo, time to carry the whole squad. No pressure.

If Fulham don’t win this they should all be docked a weeks wages. I don’t think there is a team worse than us in the league right now. Casemiro injured also of course.

We will play well for the first 15min without having a shot on goal, then we will be dominated by the World Class (TM) talents of Tim Ream, Andreas Pereira and Tom Cairney who will step up from first to second gear occasionally and stick the knife in.

At 2-0 down we will show a bit of spirit and have our last shot on target in the 58th minute.

    It is written.

It's funny, the worse things are getting the more optimistic I feel. I was certain we'd beat Newcastle and we got hammered, and despite everything I'm still fairly sure we're going to beat Fulham.

Palhinha will almost certainly be the best player on the pitch and shite all over Casemiro and Amrabat, but Fulham are NOT good overall (neither are we yes I know). The day I go in to a match against Fulham without at least the hope/blind optimism that we might win, is the day I stop watching football.

Think I'd go 3-5-2, just for the sake of doing/trying something different.

Away game at a better than relegation level side. We know the result.

At least the game comes early.

I'm so shocked at how our season is panning out, for the first time in ages I had high hopes for us this season.

All went down hill watching the opening Wolves game.

If we draw I will be happy. Nevertheless, I will not watch the game and I don't want to suffer again.

Varane is still sick so we'll have yet again Maguire and Lindelof. Amarabat the MMA fighter will play alone in midfield, such as Mc Tominay.

So we will not have anything changing vs recent weeks.

We can only hope in December/January when Shaw and Licha back to have a sort of stability. Until then, we will suffer.

Shaw and Licha will help but our midfield and tactics are still awful. I dont see him being here in Jan

We must start over. Play low use the most adequate defensive players and go long on Rashford and Hojlund. Let Fernandes do what he does best, let him sit in the free role in the middle and let him flick passes between.

    Just don’t lose.

We barely scraped past Sheffield who’ve had the worst ever start to a PL season of any team.

    This won’t be pretty.

But we must insist on sticking with a failing manager because as so many fans on here so succinctly put it “who do we bring in to replace him?” Always a good reason for accepting abject failure.
