Quite a familiar sight...Luton pressing up to midfield, outnumbering us, stealing the ball and setting up attacks.

Same old United, concede and fall to pieces. Terrible stuff, really. I fancy a Luton win here, they score a second and we’re fecked.

Embarrassing for ETH that Shaw’s gone off injured again.

Amrabat must be fecking shite if he's not getting a look in
    He is. Very much so.

In control. Don’t fall for media talk. Mainoo is very good and until ref started to give out cards like Santa we were never going to be touched. After that we started to think little more about that. Fernandes and Rashford need to be better.

Said it last week but we need a new LB. Shaw has been at the club for 10 seasons, we know his injury record is on par with Phil Jones, we need a LB who’s consistently available. Casemiro’s legs have gone.
1 good season for £70m, £400k on a 5 year contract. He will be impossible to sell on that money whilst we retain a player who cannot keep up with the league’s pace.

When will this club learn to do transfer business the right way.

Not sure if it's tactics, mentality or a combination of both but it's so depressing watching how Arsenal played when taking the lead yesterday to what United always do when we get a lead.

It's honestly shocking that we park the bus against Luton up 1 goal 14 mins in.

I would take Bruno off, he offers nothing in games like these.
100%. I genuinely think he is a major reason for our crazy treatment of the ball.

Treating it like a hot potato when you are under the pressure, and the sloppiness is everywhere. And it starts with our captain.

He just looks as if he plays a different sport compared to the rest of the seasoned professionals. Casemiro just moves as if it is quicksand, he just clearly shows me you can be part of a good team without really bbeing anything special
Nah that’s a load of tripe, Casemiro at his best was a legendary defensive shield at the base of those Madrid teams, but he’s about 4 years past his best and his legs have truly been gone for 12 months now. Hes a step slow to everything.

Is it a progress to go from being shit and maybe 2 or 3 goals down to nothing to being shit but ahead 1 or 2 goals?

A really exciting first 6 minutes where we scored twice and looked like scoring every time we got the ball followed by a totally inept 40 minutes of football. We are very fortunate to be ahead and need to change the pattern of the game otherwise we won't be at the end. It's the continued problem with this team under Ten Hag that there is absolutely no control of the game.

Incredible how often we play with such intensity for 10-30 mins then go back to sleep for the rest of the game.

They can do it. They just can't be arsed.

You’re seriously suggesting that the perceived flaws of others are reason enough for him to not bother working in his own game?
His passing has been fine, nobody hits 100%, let alone strikers.

People on here are so fast to be depressing nihlists over the littlest of things.

I remember De Gea getting slack because he had a manbun ffs.

The team has absolutely no shape, every team creates chances with 1-2 touches against them. Just like last year, we get the results but we are rarely the better team.

Ugh... Really feel Adebayo would have made a difference. Not just our top scorer but so good at hold up and getting others involved. Woodrow is genuinely useless and adds nothing. Still, we're still in this thing so happy about that.

OK, I take back what I said. I didn't give him the credit he deserved for that second one. 100% meant it.

Lindelof is equally as bad as on the right or the left so no point switching Dalot from his best position. Both Luton's wide players are having plenty of the ball so it wouldn't make a difference who Lindelof is defending, just so long he doesn't feck up.

Casemiro cannot, cannot, cannot come out for that second half. You saw how he has to play now on a yellow on that Luton counter attack. Get him fecking off.

To Summarise, we looked just about ready to press the self destruct button again but were saved by half time.

Perfect start. Then shit the bed completely. It's not only the goal we conceded, but the way our attack has become non existent afterwards. Bad touches, passes and decisions from all of our front four. Mainoo is the only player who can actually manipulate a football like a professional. Which is grim considering how inexperienced he is.

Defensively we'll always struggle with Casemiro and Maguire. Their lack of pace will be a glaring flaw in every PL game. You might get away with one, can't get away with both. Casemiro cannot come out for the second half. McT or Amrabat get one of them in. I'd even sub Bruno for Eriksen but I know Eriksen isn't going to last 45 mins. Speaking of lasting 45 mins, Shaw can't even do that. Terrible.

We cannot let Luton be level at any point in the game, or else we'll crumble as usual. I just hope we scrape through this.

Our manager is clueless on how to manage games. It's happened too many times for it to be an issue.

Pull everyone tight, short passes to take the sting out of the game and control possession. Nope

We still booming forward hitting Hollywood passes from a clueless captain

Wtf is going on, it's Luton ffs

So we have cried for a striker who can score, we have one - and one who presses, drops deep when needed and overall has ok passing - and now they're "overall dogshite".
When will it end? "Nah he's great at everything, but he will be awful if told to go in goal, therefore he's dogshite".
In recent games, his decision making and passess is poor. I just have a feeling him and Garnacho make those passess on purpose so they can be on the recieving end of it. I am allowed to say he scores goals but his game is shite and needs improving, especially lately.

Anyways, he is the least of our problems and am happy with his progress. We should be more worried about the old grandpa from Madrid already on retirement in our midfield. Guy is struggling physically and with pace of the game

    I'd take it.

Plus there's a whole 45 mins left and Hojlund just needs a sniff at goal now. Probably a nervy 2-3 win at the end with a hattrick from him.

    Standard ETH team
Performance good for 10 mins, no control in midfield, no legs bar kobie in midfield Bruno and Marcus stinking the place out and Garnaucho being super greedy, did I miss anything ?
Oh Yeah Varane, Maguire and Casemiro have all aged a decade in 45 mins.

We seriously need to get Casemiro off before a second yellow card, then get someone around Barkley like Amrabat as Ross Barkley is running the midfield currently and United fans scoffed when I said we should be all over him in the summer on a free?
