  1. Football manager's who look like Simpsons characters

I can't post images, but EtH looks like Lars (the future alternate Fry) from Futurama.
  2. Post match vs Tottenham Hotspur

Played ok against an awful Spurs side. But that's not a lineup/tactic that I would look forward to watching every week.
  3. The 3pm U.K. Blackout

I can understand the Saturday 3pm blackout, but what I don't get is why the PL doesn't simply play all of its matches on a Sunday? If the country has the capacity to stage 40ish professional football matches simultaneously at 3pm Saturday, then surely we can manage to stage 10 matches on a...
  4. Post match vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Good showing from the youngsters. Could easily have had another 2 or 3. Most promising thing was the performance of VdB, by far his best game for Utd.
  5. Premier League Gameweek 35/36

If Liverpool win their remaining two games, the only results that stop them getting top four is Chelsea winning both their remaining matches and Leicester beating Spurs by a large margin and edging Liverpool on GD. A draw between Leicester and Chelsea doesn't help as this would mean the most...
  6. Premier League Gameweek 35/36

They can't both win both their games as one of them is against each other
  7. Post match vs Leeds United

Not amazing but still had enough opportunites to have won that with a bit more quality in the box. Very much an end of season game with having top 4 pretty much guaranteed and one eye on the Europa League semi-final.
  8. Post match vs Granada

Little energy expended, no injuries and through to the semi-final. All you can ask for from this game really.
  9. Sancho, Grealish, Rice or Calvert-Lewin?

If the club think Amad is going to make it as a first team player, I don't see the point in buying a player only a few years older for the same position. I think Utd would be better off looking at experienced RWs about 27 years old who will do the bulk of the job and rotate with Amad until he is...
  10. Erling Haaland

If the reported demand of £600k per week wages is genuine, that is absolutely insane. Bringing in three or four players for the same combined total wages would make a far bigger difference to improving the team.
  11. Post match vs Leicester City

Gifted Leicester all three goals, although they were much better than Utd. I'll give them benefit of the doubt on this occasion as they did play Thursday evening while Leicester have had a week off, so you can sort of understand the changes to the starting 11 even with the international break...
  12. Shaw confirms ref bottled the penalty

CHO's hand is above his shoulder. According to the rules on the FA website, this alone makes it a handball offence. Intention or otherwise is no longer a consideration.
  13. Shaw confirms ref bottled the penalty

If the ref has actually said what has been claimed, then Shaw has every right to draw attention to it.
  14. Post match vs Chelsea

I thought Utd played alright. A couple of decent final passes on the counter away from winning that game. On another day they would have come off. Performance of the referee was shocking. Seems decisions have to be far more blatant for Utd to actually get awarded anything lately.
  15. Shaw confirms ref bottled the penalty

If that is genuinely what the ref said to Harry Maguire then that's disgraceful refereeing. Didn't want to give it because it would have people talking about it afterwards! Unbelievable.
