To be honest, take those goals away and to me he looks like a non presence on the pitch almost. Barely any take ons or link up play or good crosses or chance creation, things you would expect from a wing.

Lukaku is only 24. Drogba was 26 when he came to Chelsea. Lukaku is hard worker and I can't wait to see how will he look 2 seasons from now when he starts entering his peak.

Not needed. What's needed is to stop with this notion of playing Pogba in midfield two and move him up the pitch/give him a free role and play Herrera or Fellaini alongside Matic. Few times this season we did that we looked breathtakingly good.

Mkhi didn't have a value? If we sold him to someone else we would have gotten 25-30 million for sure so saying how we paid zero for Sanchez makes no sense. Real value isn't 107 million but close to 140.

I maintain that the best we looked was when we played 3-5-2 with Martial and Lukaku as CF, Martial drifting a bit to the left. I maintain that we would look the best if Pogba was the one behind 2 strikers (Rashford as 3rd striker to rotate with Martial and Lukaku) and with quality box-to-box CM...

Commendable effort seeing we played with 10 men for 60 minutes since Mkhi was on the pitch.

Playing with basically no support at all cause Darmian is no threat going forward and Mkhi was invisible and he still managed to look threatening even with 4 people swarming him every time he got the ball. Our best outfield player by large margin today.

And Martial out now when he would get more space with Lingard on...shame.

I am not the biggest fan of Lingard but at least we won't look like we play with 10 man with Mkhi on the pitch.

So who ever plays instead won't carry the ball forward? I don't understand how is that an argument against dropping him even if that someone carries ball forward less but is more capable of actually not getting dispossessed in dangerous areas 10 times per game.
