  1. United's Greatest Captain?

Bryan Robson. By an absolute country mile.
  2. How good was Lee Sharpe?

He certainly didn’t lack pace as a teenager. Rapid. Better crosser of a ball than Giggs. In a game against Sunderland at Old Trafford he produced the best 45 minute display I’ve ever seen at a professional level. Shame it’s not on YouTube. Always thought he’d have made a cracking fullback...
  3. How good was Ryan Giggs?

Very good player. Arguably great. Certainly had a great career. Wouldn’t make my all-time United XI (from players I saw), but would definitely make the bench. At his best he was fantastic. When he was poor he was really poor. Legend.
  4. Manchester United Kits 2018/2019

Unless the club are changing the nickname, the devil should be red not black. Other than that, not too bad an effort. Can’t believe they’re having black numbers on the back though. Surely they won’t be visible enough?
  5. Manchester United Kits 2019/20

Personally think the devil on the badge on the home shirt of the Red Devils should be red.
  6. Would you swap with Liverpool?

They’ve finished below us for 24 out of the last 27 seasons. Their last eight league results against us are: loss, loss, loss, loss, draw, draw, draw, loss. Are they even our rivals anymore?
  7. Unbeaten league winning season v 100+ points but with defeats

Most points, obviously. 17th place and safety (with 18 defeats), or 18th place, unbeaten and relegated? Unbeaten is not that great. It’s like saying two draws is superior to a win and a defeat.
  8. Improving Old Trafford's Atmosphere

Not anymore, apparently. By all accounts, and this is unofficial but comes from within the club, the original plans that were published for the new disabled section have been shelved. No idea why. Could be to do with the South Stand, could be to do with safe standing being introduced in those...
  9. Improving Old Trafford's Atmosphere

Interesting that they've shelved the plans for the disabled section to go around one end of the ground. I wonder what is behind that. Maybe news on a Stand Stand redevelopment (yet again) is imminent, and more disabled spaces will be available there?
  10. Manchester United officials looking at plans to expand Old Trafford capacity to 88,000 | Scrapped?

If transfers and stadium development are from the same pot then the time will never be right to develop the stadium, and it will never happen.
  11. Why not retractable roof?

Football is made to be played in the rain. The only time a retractable roof should be used is when it’s actually not raining, so they can turn the roof sprinklers on.
  12. 'And Solskjaer has won it!' - Fan Footage

Not a fan of Alan Green at all, but his radio commentary at the end was superb. Someone actually did an 8 minute YouTube clip of the events of the final, and ended it with Green (not sure if it’s still on there). I’ve still got it saved in my music on my phone. “...and the Munich players are...
  13. United in red shorts (yay, nay or Eboue?)

Type “Manchester City v Middlesbrough 1980-81 David Hodgson” into YouTube search (I’d do it myself but I’m fairly new and can’t link videos). Stop the video at 24 seconds for conclusive proof.
  14. United in red shorts (yay, nay or Eboue?)

The Manchester United red home shirt was coupled with red shorts and red socks as recently as the 1980-81 season, away to Manchester City at Maine Road.
  15. Mourinho's press conference - Derby County

Annoyed that not one journalist asked for an example when Jose was referring to conditions not being in place to succeed when he arrived. He’s ready to offer something at least slightly interesting but they overlook it and go back to the usual “are you happier when we win or when we lose” style...
