  1. Manchester City vs Manchester United

City’s luck will run out. Unfortunately, not expecting it to this weekend. 2-1 City.
  2. United's form since going Top of the Table in January

Absolutely. With this year’s schedule every first team is tired and carrying injuries. Pep’s done a good job managing their second team into first place, but no other side has City’s depth of talent. This season favors the deepest side. Things will be more competitive again next season.
  3. Why has every United manager made a comment which has "destroyed" them?

Not really sure who the target audience is for these juvenile “oooh he said something wrong” games the media play. The press these days are like annoying six year olds yelling “Teacher! Teacher!”
  4. Chelsea appoint Thomas Tuchel

With Lampard in charge Chelsea had a soul. The first time in ages they were interesting. Tuchel is a better manager, sure, but now it’s back to ignoring the oligarch’s mercenaries.
  5. West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United

The way Ole staffed the bench he thought we’d quickly build a 2 or 3 goal lead and he’d bring on defenders to see the game out. After WB scored early we didn’t have a response available when our attackers were having an off day.
  6. Post match vs West Bromwich Albion

If there was any team ripe for the picking it was West Brom. City are running away with the title and no team seems concerned about it. Disappointing.
  7. Chelsea appoint Thomas Tuchel

Wasn’t a fan of the appointment but he seems to be proving me wrong. Things are working better at Chelsea at the moment.
  8. Manchester United vs Everton

Important game. I like our chances but Everton are no pushovers. 2:1
  9. Liverpool 2020-21

Liverpool consistently won games late in the match last season. Their fitness was better than most teams. They would run them ragged for 80 minutes and pounce on worn out defenders. It’s not happening this season and it’s not clear why. Lasting Covid side effects may be responsible for...
  10. Burnley's Leveraged Buyout

For a rental house you do. Virtually every business operates on financing secured by business assets and the expected future revenue stream. It’s only because foreign billionaire plaything / state ownership have been sanctioned that it seems normal in the PL. To the detriment of the league, in...
  11. Post match vs Arsenal

When Bruno’s tired the team plays tired. He needs a rest to get the team back in top form.
  12. Arsenal vs Manchester United

A month ago this would have been a slam dunk. Arse has had some success and the media have switched their hounding-out target from Arteta to other managers. Tougher game for us but we still win 3-2.
  13. Lingard to join West Ham on loan

Good move for him. He wasn’t going to play for us. If he can break into their first team and score some goals he should get his confidence back.
  14. Post match vs Sheffield United

It’s a loss. It happens. The compressed schedule is wearing on everyone and SU isn’t as bad as the table suggests.
  15. Post match vs Liverpool

Terrific match. Can’t say enough about Bruno and the club for buying him.
