  1. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Ah yes DDG was extremely stable since WC 2018. I swear his rate of howlers was way higher than Onana's in his last 5 seasons.
  2. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I know I'm nitpicking a little but post Abramovic and before Fergie retired, 5 league titles and 1 CL for United, 3 league titles and 1 CL for Chelsea. I think the extra 2 league titles outweigh whatever extra 2 or 3 FA Cups/league cups Chelsea might have won.
  3. Rasmus Højlund | 2023/24 Performances

Loads of people in these threads say he's technically terrible. As well as the goals now he's taken plenty of good touches, dribbles, passes on top of his strength and pace
  4. Marcus Rashford | 2023/24 Performances

I know we haven't had a threat on the right for a while but two decades is massively overstating it. Ronaldo played on the right until 2007 at least so about 16 years. But Nani was more of a threat from around 2009 up until 2012 than I reckon Garnacho is likely to become, and Valencia was also a...
  5. Antony under investigation by Brazilian authorities for domestic abuse | Back in the squad

No one can say for sure if he is guilty or innocent, and it should always be innocent until proven guilty. Did she allege that Antony was responsible as it happened or was it down the line when they were no longer together? It's possible she has her own dishonest motives, it is possible that...
  6. 75pts: Around about the maximum points haul you’d expect from this squad?

Where's the "points wise we are not much better than last season" brigade (they were still saying that up until a month ago)
  7. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

JM won the league Cup and EL in his first season
  8. How good was David Beckham?

What Ferguson said wasn't gospel though. Rooney, Beckham, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Schmeichel, vdS, RvN, RvP, Keane, Stam and probably more were all world class
  9. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

We have improved MASSIVELY. We have a 70% winning percentage this season. Even in the season that we finished 2nd under Ole our winning percentage was less than 60%. When we finished 2nd under Mourinho it was 67%. If we don't win a single game from here until the end of the season i.e. we...
  10. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I don't understand people saying we're getting similar points per game as last season. The season doesn't finish after 27 games. We are already on 50 points with 11 games left, whereas last season we finished on 58. We are currently on course to get 70-71 points, that's not similar ppg as last...
  11. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

We have Brighton and Spurs away as our toughest games.. Spurs have Newcastle and Liverpool away. Newcastle have Arsenal home, Chelsea away and of course a game against Spurs. We should still make top 4
  12. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I'm stunned the word sacked keeps coming up. ETH isn't even close to getting sacked right now
  13. Osimhen v Kane

I would prefer Osimhen over Kane. It reminds me of when we got RvP as opposed to if we had gotten Lewandowski. One world class league ready striker but pushing 30s, another 23-25 year old potentially world class player but not proven in the league. I loved RvP and he was brilliant for a season...
  14. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

But, but.. I thought we don't score goals
  15. Marcus Rashford | 2022/23 Performances

Wow. Rashford had been great but there's a looong way to go for him to come close to Cristiano 07/08
