    As intriguing as this whole then of events has been, I'm more interested in what will happen 12 months from now. How many will stay, how many, if any, will walk out mid-season. Will the league progress and attract top talent?

    Liverpool need another 2 midfield signings, assuming Fabhino and Thiago leave. They will also surely need a full back with TAA seemingly enjoying a new role where he doesn't have to do his main job... Defend. They need to be busy in the market in the next 3-4 weeks

    As an Albion fan who admires Man Utd (always have since a child) Carrick was the midfielder that caught my eye for how simple he made the game look. An absolutely brilliant footballer who deserves much, much more recognition!
