  1. Call our final position in the PL table

Even if we win 1 and draw 1 out of our last 4 games, Chelsea only have to win 2 out of their last 4 to finish above us on goal difference (unless we clock up a massive hat full of goals in that solitary win). We'll have a clearer idea tomorrow, after Chelsea's home match against WHU. .
  2. Call our final position in the PL table

Irrespective of the final positions at the end of the season, if both Chelsea and Newcastle win their games this weekend, we'll already be sitting in 8th place before we next kick a ball (Palace on Monday night). .
  3. Jadon Sancho | 2023/24 Performances | Dortmund (loan)

Yes I forgot. It was only PSG. Not Bournemouth.:confused::confused::D:D:D
  4. Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

Palace have been looking good recently and won 3 of their last 4 ( inc. beating Liverpool at Anfield). In those 4 games they’ve scored 9 and conceded 3. They made a good go of it in their previous 4-2 loss at home, to City, just before that. On our current performances, with the available...
  5. Jadon Sancho | 2023/24 Performances | Dortmund (loan)

That game tonight was every bit high intensity, high tempo, tightly fought with plenty of aggression, that you would see in a top EPL clash, with both teams going for it. If Sancho can so confidently and enjoyably handle that, he could handle the Premiership and perform just as well here. He was...
  6. David Ornstein: Man Utd want to keep Marcus Rashford | Consideration of sale if Rashford wants to take on a new challenge or a substantial bid arrives

The wages released by selling Rashford, should allow Utd to accept a more realistic offer. Nobody is going to put in a massive bid and match his current salary. Let’s face it, if most Utd fans are no longer blinkered and can see this players limitations and poor character, why would you think...
  7. The looming spectre of.....The Conference League

Don’t underestimate Chelsea. They’re finally starting to play a lot better after a disastrous season,. They should have beaten City in the FA Cup semi-final, if it hadn’t been for poor finishing and wasting clear cut opportunities. Their fight back against Villa the other night, being denied an...
  8. The looming spectre of.....The Conference League

Champions League for next season is long gone and now mathematically impossible. The only realistic chance of Europa League will be to win all our remaining games, or win the FA Cup, but how realistic is the likelihood of either of those? If we can only get 4 or fewer points from our remaining 4...
  9. Call our final position in the PL table

If we only get 1 win and 1 draw out out of the last 4 games (and that’s being optimistic), Newcastle and Chelsea have very good chances to finish above us and we end up in 8th place. Newcastle have an easier run in on paper and only need to win 2 out of their last 4, if we can only gain 3 more...
  10. The looming spectre of.....The Conference League

With Chelsea coming back to draw with Villa last night (Chelsea had an injury time winning goal overturned by VAR), there’s a little bit of hope they can scrape enough points to catch up and finish above us. They just need to win 3 of their 5 remaining games and Utd only getting 1 win and 1 draw...
  11. The looming spectre of.....The Conference League

After today’s and tonight‘s late result, the Conference looks almost a certainty now. Chelsea are currently losing, and if it ends up that way, they’d have to win 3 of their last 5 to move above us. WHU have only 3 games left, the last away at the Etihad, so that’s a max of 6 points if their...
  12. Manchester United vs Burnley

Despite the 4-2 score line, we just scraped past Sheffield Utd. Today we struggled like a bottom of the table club against almost certain relegation fodder. This is getting worst.
  13. Manchester United vs Burnley

We’ve been here so many times. Dominate for the first 20 minutes, with lots of attacking opportunities in and around the opponents box, but we can’t score and have almost no real clear cut chances. Then we go completely off the boil, fall flat, the midfield evaporates and the other team start...
  14. Post match vs Sheffield United

A Europa League place looks possible now. Anything to avoid that Europa Conference malarkey.
  15. Post match vs Sheffield United

Finally got a decent win, but boy did we make hard work of it and could easily have been caught out again at 2-2 to go behind for a 3rd time. Reality check reminds us the opposition are cut adrift in the basement of the Premiership and yet we couldn’t dispatch them until late on. One positive...
