At the end of the day there's a good player in there somewhere and there's plenty to like about his play when he's on it, we've all seen it on enough occasions but the last few seasons have been an incredible drop off in form. With his age, his contract status, his inability to get in the side...

He hasn't joined up with the squad yet, though he posted on instagram yesterday saying 'Last day in Brazil before pre season.' Hopefully we should see him in action relatively soon, though the Liverpool game might perhaps be too early for him.
