As poor as we are, if we held on few minutes to beat Brentford and Chelsea, we'd still be in it. Spurs have really difficult schedule until the end and Villa have been dropping points for a long time now. Shame but did not deserve top 5 anyway...
Last time we beat them in the league was on Ronaldo's return, September 2021. Could be important game in terms of finishing 6th as well. Newcastle and Chelsea (and West Ham) have a decent chance to take take position over us if we continue to...
Our next 5 games: Bournemouth, Coventry, Sheff. United, Burnley, Palace. He should be starting most of those, either in midfield or in Rashford's position at least.
Bournemouth away - draw
Sheffield at home - win
Burnley at home - win
Palace away - win
Arsenal at home - draw
Brighton away - draw
Newcastle at home (TBD) - draw
That's 13 points out of possible 21, which would mean we end the season with...
True and it is our level. I personally just been sick of it after 3 painful losses to Spanish sides. If we get Europa spot for next season, I'll be happy actually. That's a decent chance for a trophy and CL qualification.
I think it's because we've played so much in it in recent years and only won it once. 15/16 second part of the season we played EL, 16/17 was nice because we won. Then 19/20 we lost in semis to Sevilla, 20/21 on penalties in final vs Villarreal...
Unfortunately looking at the remaining fixtures of all 3 teams seems to me like Arsenal have toughest games left. Spurs away will be incredibly difficult for them, more than United away was for Liverpool. Wolves (A) and United (A) could be...
It's really nice set of fixtures and if we actually were in top 4 race, I'd give us advantage to finish in top 4. We can beat Bournemouth and Palace away, should beat Sheffield United and Burnley at home, can beat Newcastle at home as they...
