  1. Moyes So Far!

  2. Is this the squeakiest bum time ever?

On the contrary, it would be more painful if they had done it the hard way, because it would be worth more. The fact that they're currently engaged in an unprecedented bout of financial doping has cheapened their success in the eyes of all non-City fans.

  4. Gary Neville on Sky Sports

A bit off topic, but Philippe Auclair said on the Guardian football podcast that Laurent Blanc is notoriously lazy, and doesn't watch much foreign football or attend matches (which might harm Ben Arfa's chances of getting picked for Les Bleus.) I always assumed he's be a great obsessive student...
  5. Gary Neville on Sky Sports

Does anyone else think that defenders, or defensive-minded players, make the best pundits? Hansen, Neville, Dixon, Souness. They had to read the game well as players, and it has translated to their analysis. Conversely, the worst pundits are often forwards (Shearer, Bright etc.)

  11. RAWK goes into Meltdown 2010/2011

Our run isn't too dissimilar to the sort of teams Liverpool were playing when they racked up 4 European Cups in a decade in the 70s/80s, when only league champions actually qualified. We've knocked out the champions of Scotland, Turkey, France and England, and may well play the champions of...
  12. The 3 players of your lifetime

The two Brazilians - Ronaldo and Ronaldinho - were easily the most devastating forwards I've ever seen, especially the former. I suppose Messi runs them close.
  13. Greatest Goal of All Time

A few 'team' efforts: The ultimate counter-attacking goal (Bayern Munich vs Red Star Belgrade, CL semi-final, 1991) Careca vs France, 1986 World Cup: And my favourite from recent years:
