  1. Coventry City vs Manchester United

Not sure why the team is settling for penalties
  2. All ticket/travel information thread - 2023/24 edition - Please be careful purchasing tickets

Thanks for the heads up. I've set an alarm for that. Do you know if non official members can purchase general admission tickets without a hospitality package? Cheers

Anyone selling 2 tickets together for the Liverpool home game? Been a fan since 1999 and finally going to be in the UK when a game is on. Any help will be appreciated!
  4. FA Cup Final: United v City

I trust that ETH is already working on a plan to stop city. It is probably his biggest test of the season considering what is on the line for both teams, hope he can pull something out of a hat for this.
  5. Marcus Rashford | 2022/23 Performances

A couple of months ago, I would have backed him to finish all of those chances he got vs Brighton and West Ham, think his confidence is fading again, along with his form.
  6. Post match vs West Ham United

Really should have been 1-2 goals up inside the first 20 minutes, but couldn't finish any of the chances, just like the last game. Hope ETH can turn this around with 1 week of rest.
  7. Race for top 4 | Finito.

All this talk about Liverpool overtaking us and missing out on top 4, I think that is only 1 part of the equation, since Newcastle still has to play Leeds and Leicester who are fighting relegation, a Brighton side that is trying to get a spot in Europe. There is every chance that they could drop...
  8. Jadon Sancho | 2021/22 Performances

He kept drifting inside with the ball and was pretty ineffective until Ole shouted "stay wide and take him on!", which then he did and beaten his man a few times.
  9. Was it a foul?

I think what Neves said in his interview sums it up. Since the impact was minimal, after the challenge, he said he was waiting to see where the ball would land before deciding to go down or not. If the ball had broken to a Wolves player, he would have kept going, but since it fell to a United...
  10. A planned exit (FA cup)?

Probably because when the season started, we wouldn't really have known where we'd be in the league, how many injuries we'd have, so the logical thing to do is to try for everything, until it is unsustainable and then you start to prioritise from there. For all you know, we could have been 10...
  11. We are an awfully coached team

Pretty spot on. It was clear that Everton's plan was long ball to Calvert-Lewin for knock downs and it just happens that time worked out for them via 3 different plays, the knock down, shot went through AWB's legs, ball snuck into the near post. Otherwise, Maguire and Lindelof did pretty well...
  12. PL Weekend Fixtures 17/10/20 - 19/10/20

Wowwwww.... What a strike! What's better is, Bale could have won them the game with a 1v1 and he missed.
  13. Eric Bailly | 2020/21 Performances

Yes, he's made good blocks and he's good at that, putting himself on the line for those goal saving tackles. But did you see where my arms were when those tackles were made? They were both held up above his head and there was every chance that the ball would hit his hands for a penalty.
  14. Should we consider selling Pogba?

I think Ole is between a rock and hard place with Pogba. If he drops him, he can (and probably will) create unrest in the dressing room, then downing tools and try to get Ole fired - which then the club has to make a decision to sell a 80m player for a massive loss or just dump Ole for another...
  15. The 3-5-2 formation under Ole

I'd put Lindelof back in to replace Bailly. When playing out the back, you just know that Bailly is an accident waiting to happen, due to lapse of concentration or bad decision making. Especially when he tries to take on people in his own box. It does seem like 3-5-2 is the best way to go at...
