Yes, you’ve got to question why ETH is looking to play him into form out of position. Being out of position sends the signal to him he’s not doing well, yet he’s left on the pitch.

The only thing in question is subbing Jonny Evans for Lindeloff. I don’t know why Lindeloff wasn’t left to see out the game. Seemed completely unnecessary to make that sub and if that didn’t happen I think the 2nd goal doesn’t go in.

no one can fault our altruism. We’ve clearly done the right thing at huge cost on and off the pitch. Not fair on our fans if we don’t recoup some of their money, should that be possible.
