The only negatives I can think of is the dire Ned-Arg semi-final, bad defending(which in truth isn't exclusive to this tournament), some stadiums not being completed on time, hopeless England. Definitely one of the best world cups in my lifetime and I'm a little sad that it's over.

Happy for the German players. For the last six years they have lived in the shadow of Spain and suffered so many semi-final or final defeats. Nice to see this generation finally win a tournament.

Terrible match, Argentina have been far from impressive while Germany have had some exceptional performances. Most of that Germany squad have experienced losing a final or semi-final, there seems to be a big desire to finally go all the way and win a tournament.
