I just think you can find a Welbeck a lot easier than a Sturridge. I loved Welbeck but he wasn't really at that level.

Injuries ruined Sturridge, there really isn't an argument for Welbeck being a better player than him(obviously Danny has had injury issues too).

I don't see the harm in keeping him, as long as the recruitment is handled well and the team is built properly. I think he can succeed with the right tools, and if he doesn't, then we will be in decent shape for someone new.

I just don't think that could ever happen, and don't think he has the right mentality for the very top level.
