  1. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

I mean, I think todays was soft, but to me it's more of a penalty then Ederson's. I won't get into whether United would be treated differently, but it's quite clear to me that teams near the top in general gets more soft decisions (whether it's Arsenal, Liverpool or City). Regarding penalties...
  2. VAR and Refs | General Discussion

One got the ball, then the player, the other just the player. While todays was soft, he just crashed into the player. I get that Ederson used excessive force, but he got the ball and cleared it. Todays was a very different kind of thing to me. I wouldn't havd given the penalty, but it's not...

Yeah, they certainly were decently priced in Sweden. Obviously there was some VIP packages that were expensive (as those I bought) but in general decent prices, certainly better then some other acts. Then that resellers can get much more because of the huge demand is another story.
  4. Music Taylor Swift

Has anyone actually managed to do that in good way? I can't remember a single high profile concert without a second hand market. The unique thing for Taylor though is her popularity which obviously skyrockets the prices.
  5. Music Taylor Swift

Her being kind to her fans and whatnot wouldn't stop me from selling my ticket for 2k if I could and wanted.

Bur of course it's still ridiculous. But then again, I know that a lot of people are flying in from Australia to see Taylor in Stockholm because it was relatively easier to get tickets here. Clearly people has a lot of money to spend.

But it's the second hand market that has these prices. There's no actual tickets left to buy for any of her concerts, so if the prices at this point is 2k, it's resale tickets.
  8. Music Taylor Swift

Well second hand market has always been a thing. No music act has ever had this demand, though.
  9. Music Taylor Swift

But what does it matter that some people are willing to pay a lot of money to see Taylor Swift? It's not like these are the actual prices of the tickets. Disliking someone for this is essentially disliking them for being popular. It seems a bit daft.

How would you even keep this from happening though without also making it a very rigid system?
  11. Music Taylor Swift

Isn't that just because the demand is higher in the US and people are thus willing to pay more (given that there were like 15 million people who wanted tickets for the second leg with around 600k there should not be much surprise that there are a few who could pay a lot for them)? I would think...

Yes, I am going in order. The American Friend should be coming up relatively soon, looking forward to it!

Happy Eras Tour month! Less than three weeks away from the concert I'm attending. Hard to think it's not gonna be a great show.
  14. Film The Redcafe Movie review thread

I seem to be alone in her liking the 'Greengrass shaky cam'. Greengrass' own Bourne sequels are some of the best action movies of the 2000's. Especially Ultimatum is incredible. Anyways, I'm currently going through Wim Wenders' filmography. Last one was Alice in the Cities. A very pleasant...
  15. Premier League clubs have agreed in principle to introduce a spending cap

Sure, but it will depend ln what the cap actually is. It will probably keep teams from having players earning 300k a week sitting on the bench, but maybe that's a good thing in the end.
