It was hardly a mediocre performance. There are others in the team who are our 'top' players who regularly deliver mediocrity and seem to get a pass. Good result. Let's be positive and learn how to spell McTominay.

I think he is an asset to the Club, and does enough to stay. He may not start most games, but impacts significantly in the final 30mins. We don't have any other players better suited for that imo.

Shaw is unavailable for long spells. Good player though. Mainoo, Garnacho in their infancy, and nowhere.near City level. They haven't played enough games yet and are still being 'nurtured'. Bruno would get the odd appearance, but is inconsistent and can be careless, which Pepe doesn't like...

Good performance from McTominay. Was playing an advanced role and did that very well. Nice to spot a couple of posts rightfully commenting positively and deservedly on McTominay's performance.

Played well. Showing some consistency. The bigger problem is elsewhere in the squad.

He may have been running to get into that position. Shame the ball was behind him, he would have scored for sure.
