Mercedes are a shambles. Apparently the car is actually producing the "missing" 70 points of downforce that the CFD/Wind Tunnel predict it should (they added more sensors to the car for this specifically). BUT its not resulting in any faster...
RedBull 1-2. About 0.5 a second a lap quicker than the other big teams (baring norris banzai lap).

they had qually engines in the 1990s. literally only used for qualfying and nothing else. they also ran at 15,000rpm so werent the most reliable.
engine maps only came when ecu development matured around the 2010s i think.

So sergant crashes the revised Williams chassis that albon damaged, in FP1.
FP2 was a rain soaked wash out.
Should hopefully lead to a interesting quality and race if the teams haven't got the cars dialled in...
i dont partake in your superbru league or whatever its called. But i wouldnt put either Mercedes high up the order. Dont think either car will make Q3 on saturday. Too many high speed corners where Mercedes ceed alot of time to Mclaren in Saudi...
