Nah. Weghorst actually averaged fewer shots than Hojlund is -- 1.58 per 90 vs 1.87 in Rasmus' favour. Both massively in the bottom 10 percentile, though -- so it's definitely not a positive stat for Hojlund.
Weghorst's issue was he was too slow...
Sell all three if we can get actually decent offers and clubs to match their salaries.
Which probably means all three will still be here, with Sancho probably out on loan again.
PSG will have a very large Mbappe shaped hole in about 4 months time. Rashford is the extremely poor mans version. Though I very much agree that PSG probably took the posturing last time around from Rashford and his brother in sour taste. Do...
Agree with a lot of this. The Zirkzee links are interesting in particular, just down to how interesting of a player profile he is. Rarely see a forward so tall be so good in the buildup and carrying the ball.
Only thing I worry about is just...
He’s averaging 1.87 shots a game which puts him in the bottom 9th percentile for strikers across Europe’s top 5. That’s mental. I think a big part of that is down to service, but it can’t be the only excuse.
Overall I think he deserves another...
Comparatively, at least. The time he was actually playing out wide was better than most of what Rashford, Antony, and Garnacho offered. Went a bit quiet when he was pushed back into midfield to replace McTominay.
Yeah definitely — though with his injury history it makes sense! Most clubs will be wary on him for his fitness, even worse if he’s injured this late into the season…
