  1. Paul Pogba | 2018/19 Performances

This is what I said: Pogba attracts such strident negative narratives about his so-called “bad attitude”, “arrogance”, “laziness”, “unprofessionalism” etc from people that do not know him or his situation simply because the combination of his price tag, his extroverted/out-there nature and the...
  2. Paul Pogba | 2018/19 Performances

First of all, I haven’t called you a “racialist” or a “racist”. Secondly, Pogba’s “unprofessonalism” is not an “easily observed reality”. To know how professional or not Pogba is, you have to have intimate knowledge of his conduct, which almost everyone that accuses him of lack of...
  3. Paul Pogba | 2018/19 Performances

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said in the presser that Pogba’s attitude is perfect and that he played till he was tired! Further proof that the narratives about Pogba’s work ethic, commitment and application and just stories built on and sustained by bias.
  4. Paul Pogba | 2018/19 Performances

Defending a professional insulting a colleague of theirs by calling them a “virus” in front of teammates. Amazing!
  5. Paul Pogba | 2018/19 Performances

I saw Scholes and Giggs gift opportunities to the opposition with careless play several times over their careers. I also saw both put in lethargic performances many times. Pogba would find it difficult to claim that he gives less than 100% for United? He’s said it multiples times! Attempts to...
  6. Paul Pogba | 2018/19 Performances

It’s not a generational thing. There are just some people, like you and many others in the English media, that are so biased (negatively) when it comes to Paul Pogba that your analyses of his performances and character tend to be unhinged from reality, constantly shifting from “he’s overrated”...
  7. Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

You’d be right if managers were kings. But they aren’t.
  8. Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

No evidence Mourinho has lost some in the dressing room? http://www.espn.com/soccer/manchester-united/story/3647511/manchester-united-senior-players-angry-and-frustrated-with-jose-mourinho-sources If you think Jose behavior is “immaterial” and his history says nothing, you may be in for a...
  9. Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

I’m sorry, it doesn’t work like that in real life. Even bosses of ordinary working people have to respect their employees or risk a backlash. Again, it’s not just Pogba or these United players. Mourinho has fallen out with previous players before and previous clubs. Mourinho defended Pogba in...
  10. Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

So Mourinho, as a manager, is permitted to humiliate and undermine his players publicly? This is not true! This isn’t a once off thing with Jose. He’s done it to several players (Mkhitaryan, Shaw, the players he found at the club) and at several clubs. When things don’t go well, Mourinho...
  11. Messi at the World Cup - No Ronaldo comparisons!

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Hes suffering the consequences of playing way too much at way too high a level for way too long. That's probably why he deliberately walks a lot and has changed his playing style. That's also probably why Barcelona are making an effort to bring in goal...
  12. Messi at the World Cup - No Ronaldo comparisons!

Interesting, I certainly wouldn't be surprised. I doubt we are going to see the same Messi again. He gave an incrdible four years unmatched in history, and I think that more than anything has taken its toll on him physically and psychologically.
  13. Messi at the World Cup - No Ronaldo comparisons!

He has noticeably deteriorated physically in the last year, it certainly was clear this world cup. If you genuinely can't see that (as opposed to not seeing it just to suit your point), then I think you obviously aren't speaking with a lot of background knowledge about the game and about Messi...
  14. Messi at the World Cup - No Ronaldo comparisons!

For one, it is pretty clear that Maradona saw a lot more of the ball against that Germany than Messi did because they did not dominate possession like the current one. Secondly, he seems to lose the ball far more than Messi does when he has possession.
  15. Messi at the World Cup - No Ronaldo comparisons!

Some of you guys need to just come out and spell out what exactly it is you are suggesting: that Messi demanded the golden ball at gunpoint? That the voters are all Messis relatives and/or idiots? I mean its fine to say you'd have given it to someone else, but to act like Messi winning it...
