He was manager when I began supporting the club, loved listening to him speak about the team. My Dad, a lifelong Liverpool supporter, always thought he was a talented manager.
Rest in peace, Tommy
Liverpool PL win, for me. The wife's best friend's hubby is a pool fan, as such we never talk football but I couldn't cope with the smug barsteward, if they won.
I manage an under 11's side and this is quite a hot topic for us.
The boys and interestingly, their parents, have no problems with heading the ball.
At our age group, they are not the most proficient at heading, so we wouldn't be losing out much but I think their development would be affected...
Finally got around to watching ep1 and managed 20 minutes. Might revisit it but was far too scripted for me, lost the edge they had in TG by trying too hard to not be TG, whilst secretly trying to be TG.
Does that make sense?
I'm in my 4th season playing mostly 4-2-3-1. 2 premierships, 12 cups.
My first team is De Gea, Shaw, Bailley, Darmian, Blind, Schneiderlin, Depay, Mata, Januzaj, Martial
Great interview, honest and sensible approach I thought. How much truth is in there, is anyone's guess but I think he's the manager to get the best from everyone in the squad. Excited for the season ahead.
