I'm happy to give him another season while we bed in the new guys upstairs. The next manager choice will be hugely important and the last thing we need is a rushed choice. Let's work on the next manager succession plan through the next season.
I remember first watching him about 5 years ago in a friendly, Wales v Spain in Cardiff. At the time he was with Atletico Madrid and had just broken into the Spanish national team. He was easily the best player on the pitch that night and completely controlled the tempo of the game. You could...
Decent defender, good in the air and a feckin unit. If it's to replace Maguire then yes it's a no brainer but if it's a Varane replacement we may need a more polished alternative.
I've been thinking down these lines for a little while. It makes sense from the PL's point of view to have a precedent set on a smaller scale before going in all guns blazing at 115FC. Less chance of their legal team blowing the charges out of the water. Or am I suffering from wishful thinking?
In my opinion he's been the best player in the championship this season and oozes class every time I've watched Leicester. Whether we buy him or not the lad is destined to play at a higher level.
If anyone is 50/50 on going to see him I can highly recommend it. Whatever you think of him, the bloke lives and bleeds football. Some of his stories are hilarious.
That's an awful looking team when you consider the players we have in our squad, when everyone is fully fit.
It just feels like he's only picking the players who will run for him now to prove a point.
The pgmol and appointed officials are unable to get contentious decisions correct at the best of times. Adding another colour card with different implications, is going to cause even more confusion and controversy. Let them sort out the mess which is VAR before adding yet another gimmick.
