Fergie's first half of a season was pretty poor in a far less competitive league so we really need to give ETH a chance. In saying that we have the most incompetent senior figures within the club that I've ever known.

The spiel is now that moving Ronaldo on would be akin to the purchase of another player due to the lift in spirits in the camp. So we'll now have Eriksen, Malacia, Martinez and (ex) Ronaldo. So 4 signings surely better than 3?!?

The optimism for this season has drained away quicker than it did last season. These lengthy transfer sagas are sapping away any optimism I had for the first month of the season. We shouldn't be in this position at this stage of the season, it's beyond a joke.
