This is mathematics. I doubt that scouse are any good in economy. Point stands that corrected for inflation, Ronaldo is still more expensive. Its irrevelant anyway, 85m is still too much for Bale.

If we take inflation rate since 2009 then we have 2009/10: 1.0% 2010/11: 2.1% 2011/12: 3.1% 2012/13: 2.6% So comparable Bale fee to Ronaldo's is 85M£ / 101% / 102.1% / 103.1% / 102.6% ~= 78M£ so practically Ronaldo will still be the most expensive transfer ever
