  1. Marcus Rashford MBE | 2020/21 Performances

Overall his sub was a waste of an option and unnecessary minutes when we conceded. I'm sure Ole put him on the pitch to exploit the innevitable spaces Leicester were going to leave behind while chasing the goal, especially if Ricardo Pereira was coming on. But alas, the plan went in the bin...

  4. Guardian: Manchester United lose £200m training kit deal over fans’ anti-Glazers campaign

that's a glorified dream version of something that probably doesn't exist
  5. What do we still need? Aka The never ending story

If Mata leaves he will be allowed to go without a fee. I certainly hope we don't sell Pogba. The rest of the outgoings are realistic, I think. On the incoming side, not too sure about Neves and £50m is an expensive punt but ok. However, I do feel that this is finally the summer we're getting...
  6. Ole Gunnar Solskjær | 2020/21 Discussion

I don't base my expectations purely on time, I do have a knack of including context into it too. And not that it matters but he hasn't been managing us for 3 years yet. Also, I guess Sir Alex not winning the league or reaching CL final for 3 years would have had you asking for his sacking, right?
  7. Why has only 1 German ever played for United?

They could but I'm glad they didn't. United is not a selling club. And on your previous point about paying to the extent of Real/Barcelona, you seem to forget all the records we've broken, including most expensive player in the world for Pogba.
  8. Would pressuring sponsors be more effective than protesting against the Glazers directly?

Other owners have not bought clubs worth $4bn too. That's one very important difference. When they buy a club that appreciates in value as an asset, which they can use to extract commercial value, that's an entirely different proposition.
  9. What’s your best case outcome from these protests?

For me, "best case" still needs to have >0% chance of happening.
  10. What’s your best case outcome from these protests?

Fair enough. I don't understand the point of listing options that are practically impossible but if it is your "ideal world" list, I get that.
  11. Would pressuring sponsors be more effective than protesting against the Glazers directly?

Still wouldn't change the ROI expectations. If the club wins everything still wouldn't double the operating income nor would it allow for dividends of double the current size to be taken. The logic that most people seem to be ignoring is that a buyer needs to have an incentive. And that...
  12. Jose Mourinho - Roma manager (from 2021-22 season)

I think Mourinho has been on a cash-grab tour with his last 4 jobs (since his return to Chelsea). He would take any club if they pay him enough.
  13. What’s your best case outcome from these protests?

This is the reality right now and you paint it as a potential new option? The only difference is the debt, right? How would the new owner(s) buy the club, you think?
  14. What’s your best case outcome from these protests?

You avoid responding but that doesn't change the fact that what you have described is wishful thinking at one end of the spectrum and pure dreaming at the other. It has no connection to plausible, realistic outcomes.
