looks like a great cameo, he’s improved a lot since last season. Really like how he has his head up and is looking for a pass now - last season (and the start of this season) the only thing on his mind is to cut in and shoot.

My thoughts last year was that he’s more effective off the bench, as he struggles against fresh legs and is more efficient coming off the bench against tired legs. He’s definitely changed my mind this season, especially when he’s playing RW...

Brilliant game from him today. Yeah the miss was bad, but I don’t mind when he keeps running and keeps trying - he was rewarded with a goal later and should have had an assist too

Brilliant first half. Best game I’ve seen from him so far, his footwork is excellent. now if he can improve his stamina and keep this up for both halves, it’ll be great

Really good and happy with him today. Defensive workrate aside, which he’s always had, he improved by using his right foot, and also looking up and passing more, instead of cutting in and shooting each time. Great cameo from him

Brilliant from him today. Always knew about his skill and control - didn’t know about his defensive workrate. Worked very hard and won the ball back during important times, 2 leading to goals. Really felt the chance was gone after the poor pass...

He’s not great defensively, but he adds a lot to attack. Much better in control from that back when he was on, and played some wonderful passes, one that probably should have won us the game in normal time.

Been critical of his subs, but delighted with him today. It could have gone really bad and it didn’t today - but even if it did, I would have praised him for taking the risk and trying to get the win.

Not sure how he ever played Defensive midfield. Mctominay is good in getting into attacking spaces as a midfielder but his defensive awareness and marking is really poor

Jones was a good player for us until his injuries.

He mentioned some of the guys were in tears, (knowing Ole was getting sacked?) so probably not in the state of mind to continue playing. Was honestly surprised that it was McTominay, but Ole was the one that made him a starter I guess.

United have signed quite a few of these pass and move type of players now, none of them have worked out. The likes of Kagawa, Mata, Sancho, Mkhitaryan all fall into the bucket for me, and had they all played together, maybe we’d have a different...

Gallagher does well to get into the positions but they are really poor finishes
